If there's no error message then You're obviously doing something wrong. What is Your current CDA? What CDA did You write into the unbrander.conf file? Does the flashing take actually place? I mean, do You see the "updating in progress" message? Did You rename the dll file correctly?

sync sation is been used by another app is common... when in the station clear the phone memory with sman. than leave it a few minutes, it will clear itself up.
Failing that you can stop the program that gives you that message.... there have been numerous links as to what the programs are, and you kill them through the task manager. |

It works fine until I rename the old and add the new SEMCXUSB.dll and from then on I get the error |

try it with your phone undocked!
you probably have the dll running if it gives you an error when you rename it. I used copy and paste to remane. Worked a treat. |

If I run SEUS without changing the dll's it works fine.
If I then cancel and start SEUS again with the changed dll's I get the error.

is it possible to just use a bluetooth adapter if i don't have the desktop syncstation device??? i also have a serial cable but it seems as though my p910i can't detect a connection to my pc when using the serial cable. my previous t610 worked fine w/ it... plus, can you actually download the SEUS program onto the pc? where is it? one more thing, since i got this phone second hand, i didn't get the phone lock code. is there a way i can get it using software or hidden key commands on the unit itself?

If I try the recovery mode.. with battery out etc
It takes about 23mins to update... but goes to CDA2006/5 (again)

The update service windows is version 1.43, are you using a different one ?

Ive become totaly obsessed with achieving this now Doc..!
this is what I have in the hfclasses folder.
as you can see the unbrander.conf file is 14bytes etc
Ive tried about 4 times this morning using the recovery mode without success..... and its still has 162006/5 as the cda.
Something that is strange is, when the update is complete, it's only reaches 88% and says its finished.?!
As a last resort, can someone pls send me their SEMCX*** files PLUS the unbrander.conf file ????

Cheers Scorpian, I used wordpad to change and add the CDA**** info. WHich prog should I be using ????????? How can I confirm if there is the extra 'unwanted' .txt ???? |

Use Notepad instead of wordpad, and when you click 'save as', make sure that the drop down box for 'file type' in the save window is set to 'all files' and not 'text files'
