Salaam all,

Ufone has reduced its rates for Prepaid users. Already with the best sms rates (both national & international) & best GPRS service......the recent reduction in call tariff is a real treat.

Ufone Prepay Tariff

Outgoing Call rates/Peak
(7am -10pm) Per Min

To Ufone
2.50

To OMN
2.50

To PTCL
2.50

Outgoing Callrates/OffPeak
(10pm -7am) Per Min

To Ufone
1.50

To OMN
2.50

To PTCL
2.50

The charges are exclusive of 15% Sales Tax. No interconnect charges...

Yes ufone is back with a great tariff plan and I guess it beats Mobilink by a long margin.Mobilink is ripping off its users with hidden charges attached and their favourite numbers tariff is still too high.
Anyway, remember to add 27% total taxes on the tariff rate announced and not just 15%.Hope you all know...what do you think?

@mus24
Yeah, mobilink is simply fleecing. It is expensive than ufone in all regards.
On this EID, mobilink service was simply pethitic. Mobilink users didnt receive many of their msges... + most of their msgs were not delivered to thier off net contacts. One of my friends was charged around Rs 100 for just 20 local sms.... he got angry....and has now shifted to ufone.
I think ufone is even better than warid. The off net calls are now cheaper on ufone. Plus the sms.....as there are many ufone users compared to warid......so there is a lot more chance of utilizing the Rs 0.5 sms for ufone users......as compared to warid users (as less number of warid users).
Again, warid charges around Rs 60 as monthly subscription for gprs service, where as, ufone has no monthly charges.
3 cheers for ufone

The screen balance is activated on some numbers only. They are in the process of testing it. But still, they do charge the same 50 paisas for this screen balance checking. [addsig]
