That's crazy...whoever bought that phone needs to have his head read...in just over a month the phone will hit stores probably selling for about US$500.

Yep, 1 month and the phone will be worth half that.
Mad price, to think some people struggle to buy one phone for about £150 let alone about £800, thass just insane.
I mean wha, the guys friends will be like "wow" for a few days....then thas s it.

Well.. the value of something is in the eye of the buyer. I'm sure there are people struggeling to buy a $150 phone, but then again, history proves that more than enough people aree wanting the latest and the greatest and are more than willing to pay a premium for it.
I payed $800 for my first T68m, i guess with your reasoning i should have waited 3 years and bought one now for $50? |

Idiot, I was talking about a few months...or is reading something you skipped in school?
Why not wait 10 years and get it for a £1 and a 2nd hand shop....same theory, eccept I was talking months.

Well, you wrote about saving money by letting time go by to make the stuff one wants go down in price.
The timeframe differs, but i guess how long one waits just is a measure of how poor/economical one might be. 
I know people running around with Nokia 3310, claiming it's all they ever dreamed of. I bet they saved a ton of money compared to me by not getting every new modell there is. (truth to be told it's become a sport for me to have the high-end SE before anyone else)
However IF one wants the latest and greatest one HAS to pay a premium. If one settles for the almost latest and maybe not so great, one can save a bit of cash.
