Hi everyone here is some info for all you people waiting for the Walkman W900i phone...
It's release date for the UK on Vodafone (which by the way will have full exclusivity on the WHITE model) is the 8th December 2005!!!!
So NO u wont be able to get the WHITE one on any other than VODAFONE!!! and because of the walkman status it will have NO branding.
***Dont forget that release dates CAN slip so dont count on it being 100% reliable*** |

they said the W800 would have no branding so I was dissapointed to find locked (i.e. not deleteable) vodafone gprs and wap profiles and also the internet services icon (top middle on the main desktop) takes you to vodafone live, not the standard SE internet menu. There was another things too that I can't recall right now.
anyway, in my book, although there is no vodafone logo's, that IS STILL branding

He said there is no branding so the menus will be normal SE menu. SE wont let anyone brand the walkman phones past putting a link on the menu.

I used to till I flashed my Voda K750i to W800i software and realised what a pile of sh*t Vodafone's software actually is! I'm never going back to using their software - ever! |

Nah, I'm going with O2 from now on. Cheaper and better value for money!
Did you know they have more customers than Vodafone and lower customer churn too? |
