As alot has experienced, the files and folders always go missing when they transfer their mp3 files over to their merory stick using the provided usb cable. For easy obtaining the solution for this problem, I've made a new topic for easy location of the solution. Here it is:

Through experimenting, the phone can only take 1 folder at a time and after that you'll have to restart your pc in order to successfully transfer another folder. So....

1) At your pc, copy all the mp3 files or album folders into a single folder ( make sure you remember the name of this folder)

2) Connect your usb cable.

3) Transfer to this directory: E:\MSSEMC\Media files\audio
where "E:" is your memory stick drive

4) safely remove hardware and remove your usb cable in order to see your folder in your phone.

5) If you want to transfer more files or folders after step 4, you’ll need to restart your PC and reconnect your usb cable.

6) The files are now in your phone and that makes R1N035 a perfect software with no bug.

Hope it helps!

Yeah... I agree with you as I experienced the same... although:

"6) The files are now in your phone and that makes R1N035 a perfect software with no bug. "

is very sad!!! as it's totally bugged and unacceptable; so I bought a memory reader for 20 U$$... hope to get revision B to fix it

That explains it.. So can I put all 100 songs in a single folder in my computer and then transfer that folder to my phone, and then just sort them in my phone using "manage files" options?

Using both the card reader and the Disc2phone should be no problem if you follow the right directory.

I just hope the R1NA005 fix this bug.. totally annoyed!

Another bug with R1N035 is incorrect signal display. It shows full bars down in our basement when there should be really no signal down there. It flashes "emergency calls only" but still full bars.

One more thing.. I noticed strange noise when exiting out of the Walkman player which it doesn't have with the R1L firmware..

Should have waited for the next firmware..

I've never had such problems, although I'm only on R1L with a K750. I transferred 1100 folders the other day via cable. Are you sure R1N is the problem?

I would suggest perhaps your firmware has become corrupted (master reset to fix), or a problem with your computer rather than the phone itself? If the computer needs to be restarted to fix the problem then what makes you so sure it is the phone?

Check this in the K750/W800 firmware thread, maybe if you format your cards and reset the phone?

"- BUG: Some phones experience MS Duo corruption after a firmware update. Symptoms include erratic behaviour of the Media Player and problems with the file system. This can be fixed by formatting the memory stick in the phone and then performing a Master Reset / Reset All. Note that this will erase all settings - perform a full backup beforehand. "

The computer doesn't need to be restarted, just unplug the USB cable and plug it in again. Transfers worked fine before R1N035.

when you unplug the phone do you use the "unplug or eject hardware" icon or do you just pull it?

Anyway, it does sound like a bug I must admit. There is no way I am updating to that firmware until I have some idea what causes it. Note, not everyone who has R1N has this problem, which is why I was doubtful at first that it is a bug. A bug usually effects everyone the same way.

I just pull it. I have 'optimized for quick removal'.

I have now bought a card reader, and just filled up the 500 MB card in 5 minutes. I should have bought one long time ago. As time is money the time saved has already paid the card reader
