I recieved this email this morning. It's obviously a spam one, but what's the point??!?!?!

If you look at it there's no links, it doesn't appear to be selling anything, just a bit of what looks like a business report and then some corny sayings:

Short term projection is $8. This company has dropped

another big one.

Can anyone tell me what the point of an email like this is, and has anyone ever recieved anything similar?

Yeah, I've recieved tons of similar emails lately and some of them are even more baffeling than that!

The secret is in the first paragraph, they're trying to get you to invest in shares in a bogus company. You'll probably recieve a few follow ups to it within the next few days, the last one usually contains contact details.

The garbage bit is because the emails were produced by people who don't speak english very well. It's supposed to be 'words of wisdom' to encourage you to invest in this company, but of course it's just cut 'n' paste cliches from various crappy e-books on 'how to succeed in business' and such like

Or, it could just be random crap, with a virus embedded in it, make sure your anti-virus is up to date

Thankfully there doesn't seem to have been a virus or any attachments, it could well be a bogus company for people to try to buy shares in or something.

I wonder if those little sayings are put in to try to fool spam blockers or something?
