sony have really gotta get their act together - bringin out way too many phones in one period is obviously causing major strain on their output speeds, just annoying and losing customers rather than gaining them - just my opinion!

sony are class products, no doubt about it, but its the same old story too many times with them - take the ps3 for example!

oh well, rant over lol

guess i will have to wait even longer!

peace

It is the first week of March 2006 and the white paper for the P990i is still not out yet, maybe it will be out after CeBIT 2006, 15 March 2006 ?

Usually the white paper isnt released until at least 2 months before release, sometimes a little longer but thats the average i reckon.

Since the phone is now labelled as June for release, we might not see the white paper for another month or more.

thats why I got my SPV M5000 instead, then if the P990 is any good I will sell it & get the P990 simfree. I find the SPV M5000 slow to wake up from standby & I am starting to miss my old P910

@PeterKay, just a note to say after two months my XDA Exec is collecting dust! Gone back to my stable and reliable Nokia 9500. The Universal is great with the latest version of Opera for WM5 but the low level of RAM and user memory is a pain as is the memory leaks and poor BT implementation. Also call quality is poor for such an expensive device.
