sorry about that. didn't mean to do that... but I hope you enjoy the P990 when received
I just thought the first pic with the P800 was a good bit of nostalgia, not to mention a big flashback to how long it took to arrive after announcement!

@ masseur
can you do one with 990 vs TyTN?
And your honest opinion, if you lived in the US, do you see any reason someone would get a 990 vs a TyTN, since using the high-speed on 990 (excl WiFi) is slim to nill..

ok, one or two pics with TyTN... and I'd probably agree with your comments regarding US choice based on the facts mentioned

@ Masseur
THX!!! Think I will go for TyTN, cheaper and actually usable globally. Feel odd thought, first time in life going away from SE product :| Might require therapy. |

Guys,
Just wanted to say that I'm really happy with my P990... yeah it could do with some more memory after using it as my phone and pda for 2 days, i can honestly say the memory issue hasnt really bothered me...
i use it as a phone, email, im, listening to music and a fair amount of surfing using wifi and UMTS.
I have 2 gripes:
1) There is a noticible click when the mp3 player moves on to the next track. Other than that the play back quality is fantastic... comparable to any other mp3 player...
2)Lack of third party software... this will hopefully improve... i'm desperate to get a decent PIM, similar to agendus on the Palm. Handy Day just doesnt cut it..... |

your best, and probably only bet, is to take a walk up Tottenham Court Road or down Edware Road
since the P990 is not available at network stores or CPW then its only these kind of shops that will have any stock

Is the Tytn made of metal like the original IMate jam or is it plastic?

@Dicky Snapples, Tottenham Court Road is at the Eastern end of Oxford Street while Edware Road is at the Western end of Oxford street where it meets Hyde Park at a corner called Marble Arch
@J273, it certainly feels metalic and it definitly feels nothing like the plastic of the P990. On the P990 you can use light finger pressure to squash the case in various ways but the TyTN will have none of that...
but this is more for the TyTN vs P990 thread
