i remmber there was a option to hide your number when calling in my K700i but both of my new k750 and W800 dont have that option unless i got into my settings...
is there a way i can hide it without selecting it from the options ?

In Australia, you can dial 1831 before the number with most carriers.

the GSM standard for this is as follows:
Calling line identity: Outgoing CLI Release (recipient sees your number)
Release: *31# destination [SEND]
Withhold: #31# destination [SEND]
Query default: *#31#[SEND]
destination is the number you are calling. you can store your numbers in the phone book with any of these prefixes
