@alexlt, you've actually been able to get your hands on the d600? It's not out over here in singapore yet. How much does it cost?

Even though the video is definately better than in K750/W800 its still utterly useless. As is any videorecording below absolut minimum 640x480 25fps 1mbit videobitrate and 128kbit 44khz audiobitrate. This is the absolute minimum I would ever consider even marginally usefull, anything below is nothing but toy.

But I guess the best way to keep being an SE fan, is to atleast try a Samsung phone one time, then one will learn never to stray again

Hey all, the D600 does feel nice in the palm of your hand, I must say the picture quality of the D600 is terrible for a 2MP camera, compared to the K750i. Video recording beats the K750i. Audio quality on voice call is poor on the D6. D500 users if you remember of the display problems it had, well samsung hasn't fixed it on the D6, its got the exactly same problems, to me I think its suited more for a female than a male, well I may be wrong......

I fully agree. It has all the great features, the questiom is are the features implemented to their full capacity?
I would like to check it out before I can even think of getting one.

Fully agreed as well!

But video quality is really fabulous. Could we get that one day in k750? COme on, just raise the fps bar, no need to increase height and width. A better codec (still usig 3gp) could be fixed with a firlwre upgrade, couldn't it ?

I think they need to understand that we moved from the time when phone cameras were used just for fun. I would prefer to have a phone that could come a little close to a digital camera. Just combine a camera and a phone.
About the video camera, I think they can improve it to some level.

The K750i and W8 are already getting old, but one thing is for certain they have beautiful designs and interfaces and screens, i just love em.

D600 i would probably get if it was a bit cheaper than the W8, but for me ... W8 [addsig]

well in a western once it was said "theres always gonna be some one faster and better" but as far as i am concerned k750i has all my requirements if i could change just one thing it would be the length of time backlight displays and quick access to the light

but hey we got the k750 it has everything i wanted and a few more things i didnt expect and so far in my books nothing compares to it

The answer is no. You have to buy a new SE phone. That's how the mobile phone industry works.

But thats the only advantage IMO, the video quality.

Anyone whos used a D500 will know compared to a phone like the K750i the Samsung interface is rather slow, over complicated and clunky.

I love the D600 though, and id probably buy one if the still camera could compete with the K750i. But it cannot.
