k750i VS Samsung D600 |

Hi There !
Althougn i'll always prefer SE phones, i just got notice of the mobile-review.com review of the D600.
Nice phone, with some intersting things (full screen pictures chen you receive a call, as it is the case with this):
Stereo speakers... Well, this is ridiculous...
Quite a nice design for menus:

And most of all, a tremendous video capability. Please remind that this is 3GP, exactly as is the case with our dearest k750i, and have a good look at this:

Framerate is exceptionnal. I have never seen such beautiful 3gp videos. Will there be a firmware upgrade on k750 that'd increase framerate to the max ?
Picture quality oon D600 is... ridiculous. No comparison possible with k750i, and there never will be !
Better screen definition (320*240). I assume next gen' SE phone will all be of that ilk. That'll be great, really.
Now comes a very intersting function: Picsel Viewer, an application able to read MS Office documents, as well as pdf files. Isn't that sweet ?:

I'd love to see that on k750 and other SE phones. There should be a java app ready one of those days, at least, i'm dying for it ! This definitely is a major inovation.
TV OUT via cinch is also supported by the phone:
Cool, but we have the same thing with Bluetooth from SE.
Anyway, phone cover is ugly, as is the design of the back panel. I'll always prefer SE phones, but I only hope that they'll provide us with major firmware upgrades in the following months (picsel viewer etc...). Especially better video framerate. not necessarily bigger size, but just improved framerate.
What are your thoughts ?

If I can get enough for my K750 I'll do the same.
Thing I love about Samsungs is that if you pair with another phone using bluetooth you can browse their files and suck them out of the phone.
Off topic but why cant we do this with the K750? |

You can (If I'm not mistaken), using a java app like bloover or some others. Very convenient.
I like Bluejacking as well, I really love it ! I even jack some of my students at school...
But ithat the only reason you'd give away your k750 ? D600 has no autofocus, low quality MP3 reproduction, ridiculous 2 MP sensor, no IrDa,... and expandable memory up to only 512 Mo...

| BT v2.0 spec doesn't supports that. Its a security feature brought in with BT on phones.

I dont hate Samsung, but I dont think I can buy a Samsung phone in the near future. I got my wife the Z500 after she cried, I also liked it for her. The phone is beatiful, but it dissapointed me, maybe Im used to SE. Some features are there but useless. I will have it as a second phone, with SE as my main phone.

Well, both are brilliant phones in their own right. Haven't seen the interface of the d600, so i can't compare. But the specs are pretty good. For more details, check out gsmarena.com.

I musts say Samsung made a very decent phone with the D600, i like it a lot, of course photo quality is not as good as K750/W800 but video is really amazing and i love that design and the picsel viewer feature.
I think is a good competitor for K750/W800
