looks like a typial outrageous nokia phone trying to compete with high standards of the se w800i & k750i phones. The twist function is just an eye catcher and is just a potential machanical problem waiting to happen. se has nothing to fear about this cheap looking fasion phone.

it never ceases to amaze me the criticism people point to a non se phone before its even released and available for test.
to complain about the mechanism may or may not be true but then the same can be said for se s flip and twist phone which also look like and acciedent waiting to happen.
while i dont think its the prettiest phone ive ever seen i do like any company that trys to do some thing a bit different from the standard flip and candy bar phones which lets be honest are never very orginal from a design point of view just functional.
the d500 for me is a great example of something a bit different and its sold like hot cakes, and is well on its way to earning classic status despite functions wise not been anything special

I think the "twist function" is a good idea when the camera is where it is, it gives you full control of what you are filming/taking picture off.

Having to twist the phone for it to work as mp3 player is madness, it won't work a bit in real life situations. That is my first thought. But it's still interesting when u sit down and think a bit, because you only need to twist it when you want to type in a number, something you don't do that often.

I don't like the design of the phone - front + buttons.
Having said that...
Nokia is getting a bit better in the design area.

On these forums, what else could one reasonably expect from people who actually have the intellectual capacity to hate an inanimate object like a cellular phone? Of all the things on this planet to hate, they choose manufacturers other than SE to heap scorn upon. Isn't it ironic that they only hate those who consistently outsell SE?
Yes, it's nowhere near as good-looking as some phones out there, but for heaven's sake, it's a PHONE, not somebody threatening your way of existence. Some of us really need to get out of the house more often.
