Email:fivewayexpressdelivery@yahoo.co.uk

Dear Raul Abadilla,

You are welcome to the Fiveway express courier service in charge of winning delivery of all the IRISH LOTTERY winners. The original copy of this certificate, together with a covering document (Money Laundering protection and Letter of Affidavit for Claims) from the Irish government stating that the money was obtained legally through their Irish Lotto will be sent to you as soon as you choose from the options for delivery.

You can now begin the final step of the claims
process, which is the transferring of your cash prize
to you. With regards to this, there are two options
open to you, you are required to select the most convenient of the two.

The options, together with their associated conditions
are presented below:

Option 1:

Delivery of your winning cheque to you via any of this
channel listed below:

NEXTDAY DELIVERY BY 10.00AM

Mailing £265.00
Insurance £178.00
Vat (5%) £40.75
TOTAL £483.75
($882.263)

NEXTDAY DELIVERY BY 2.00PM
Mailing £265.00
Insurance £135.00
Vat (5%) £40.75
TOTAL £440.75
($803.840)

The insurance company declined reverse payment for the
courier, stating that it is against their professional
policy towards ensuring the safe delivery of the
draft to you. That if a reverse payment is made, and
something goes wrong, that we/you cannot sue the
courier company or insurance company to recover the
full value of t he fund as stipulated in the draft
since payment for insurance cover was not made at
point of mailing.

With the above reason, reverse payment is ruled out.
Forward the cost of mailing your draft with any of
the courier channel cost you choose above to us.

Option 2:€350,000 (Three hundred and fifty
thousand Euros)will be wired
to your bank account via swift bank transfer.

Condition: The cost of COT (commission of transfer)
being charged by our transferring bank, which is 1.1%
of the cash being transferred will be paid by you.

Note that your prize is protected by a hardcover
insurance policy, which makes it impossible to deduct
any amount from the money before it has been remitted
to you. This means that the above charges cannot be
deducted from the prize and hence must be provided by
you before your prize is transferred to you.

Please respond to this email by making a selection
from the two options above.
Also be reminded that the deadline for the claiming of
winnings is exactly One week after the receipt of this
email. After this period, your cash prize will be
deemed to have been forfeited by you and will be
reused in the drawings of the next edition of the
lottery.

Good luck and Congratulations.
Have a lovely day.

Respectfully yours,

Mr James Clark.

Director Operations/Logistics.

For one "Fiveways Express Courier Service" doesn't seem to actually exist.
resistance is futile.

It's a scam

1. Did you have a go on the Irish Lottery? No.

2. 'FiveWaysExpress' or whatever courier services does not exist!

3. ALL of the contact email addresses are yahoo accounts. Most legit companies (other than really small ones maybe) use there own domain names for business email accounts.

4. THEY WANT MONEY OFF YOU BEFORE SENDING YOU THE CASH! That's the biggest give away of all!

It's clearly a scam, and not a very well done one either

Yep, a big scam, avoid at all costs. Don't email them again, just go quiet on them. The amount for mailing the cheque is far too much anyway, definately dodgy. And I bet it originates somewhere other than Ireland too, it'll be a variation on the usual scams I'm afraid.

Problem is, you replied to the email, so they have your email address. You may find that you get a lot more of these kinds of emails now, as these people sometimes sell 'idiot lists' (No offence to you!) of people that have replied to these kinds of scams to other scammers so they can try their luck too. It happened to me after I once foolishly replied to a 'phishing' scam email and ended up emailing my details to someone who hijacked my Ebay and email account and tried selling a motorbike on my account! I ended up getting a load more of those kinds of emails for ages afterwards.
