@masseur
Those SENSE links above are no longer working. Is there anywhere that you know of where I can get K750i dismantling instructions, it seems a lot harder than swapping a K700i case anyway...
Cheers

Can I just confirm that if I wanted to put the silver front and back from a K750i onto my W800i, then I would need to have the keypad as well? The pad surrounds look slightly different to me. |

I'm not sure, if it doesn't say in either of those guides then I would suggest either erring on the side of caution and have a new keypad or message either of the authors of those guides and ask them.

I have a W800i that needs cleaning inside. i dropped it once and dust got in. i took it to a phoner booth in the town to ask if H'ed open it for me but he wouldnt do it, said there was no point!
Well, i looked a that article and i reckn I could do it!
Now I know you need a torx screwdriver, but what size, or is there only one size?

It's a Torx T6 sized screwdriver you want, should be a fairly simple job to open it, especially with the posted guides. I'd suggest getting one of those plastic phone opening tools too, saves damaging the phone facia/chassis trying to prise it off with a screwdriver, much easier too, and easier on the fingernails!

Thanks sammy boy.
You know what the guy recommeneded to get rid of the dust? One of those air canisters like they sell in Jesops. He said to blow down the earpiece with it and the dust will go.
Yea right,more likely I'll bugger me earpiece, and wheres the dust gonna go!
I'd have paid him to do it as well!
