i'm curious as to why you are looking for another media player.

i'm not the original poster, but the media player delivered with the k750i kind of sucks for mp3s:

. the 'shuffle' function is something taken from 1988; if i have songs in my playlist A, B, C, D and i start playing shuffle - it's common that i will hear B, D, A, B, A, C (and other forms of repetition that plays already played songs before finishing one complete playlist)
. the sorting options for a playlist completely ignore the track number field in the id tag

adding insult to injury, the j2me implementation for Player (letting people write java programs to play back audio) on the k750i is currently crippled (in the case of InputStream usage) and broken (in the case of DataSource usage)

To further on to what quaeler was saying (I agree strongly with his point on the shuffle), the inbuilt media player is also not particularly useful for videos.

Irritatingly slow fast forward (or even a simple "goto:time" function would circumvent the need for this), no way to pause and minimise the video after youve put it in full screen, and no way to remain in fullscreen when it changes to the next video.
