You can view word and excel documents on the K750!!!

Simply save the document "as a webpage" (html) then send to the phone. This is saved in "saved web pages" on the K750, and is viewed by the built in browser.

Excel documents must be single sheet only before saving as html, otherwise it complains it "cannot view frames".

If there are pictures in the document, they will be dropped, but all the html content comes across fine (tables, cell colours etc)

Does this include word and excel attachement received via email? I can't seem to be able to open them.

i think if you use gmail mobile via wap you can open these attachments, and also pdfs

@jdfurbert, no, but if you use gmail via wap it translates word and excel files into html so you can view it on wap.

So you can forward the email to a gmail account and view it online.

Yes I was stoked when I realised just what the saved webpages feature of K750 could offer! Finally a use for html output filters in Office.

Hey there !

Great trick, but I get issues with page settings: horizontals and verticals are hectic, and I can't view the file properly. I have to slide it.

Will try the other HTML option in Word.
