Hi all, Can someone let me know what is the best bluetooth headset for use with the K750i please. I currently have the Bluetrek G2 which came free with the phone and am very frustrated with it (voice dial/answer not working, mic volume too low etc etc). I have heard this is a problem with the phone rather than the headset and that a f/w update could fix it in future, but i could have to wait months for this!

I really want a headset which works properly and look forward to hearing which ones work and which to buy!

Thanks in advance!

Yeah I have the Jabra BT200 and when I use the voice dial option my phone crashes to a white screen and then basically restarts. my mic volume seems to be good though. I am preferring using a headset since the speaker volume on the phone is so quiet right now with this firmware and the headphones being such total crap! Can't wait for stereo bluetooth headphones to come out with built in mic!

@EZtips,

I found that my K750i & SE HBH-662 headset has the same issue. However, it only happened if the phone is in Silent Mode. When your phone crashes, is it in silent mode?

thelight, what's your firmware? Mine's R1J. Do you think it's going to work perfectly with my phone? My present headset acts eratically. Sometimes the audio is transfered to the headset, often it's not.

Im using R1L002 firmware, but, all my problems were fixed after the first firmware update so I was ok with your version. The only one I had problems with was the initial firmware, where I could not get voice dialing to work, nor could I cancel a call by pressing the button on the bt headset.

Ack I should have bought the HBH 300. I never really thought the K750i would be so problematic on using bluetooth headsets. I think I'm getting the HBH662. Do you know if that should work perfectly?

Oh and also, does anyone have feedback on the Motorola HS820? Do you think it's going to work well with the K750i? Thanks.

I have the HBH-300, and it only works with my K750i on R1L as the other one on R1J will not work properly with it. This is what happens on R1J, the phone transfers the call to the headset, but only for about 10 secs, then the voice stops but the phone and headset are still connected, but no sound in headset or phone. Person on other end can not hear you either, so all sound is gone except a hissing noise in the headset. R1L seems to work fine, now my R1J handset is an Orange locked one, and the R1L is a sim free one bought from CPW. Jabra BT250v seems to work fine with both, except for about a 5 second delay in answering the call, and the Nokia HS-11w seems to wrk fine with them both, and I have heard that the HBH-608 works perfect with the K750i but not sure about all versions of software.

I shouldn't have bought this phone in the first place. This is frustrating.

@jiminabottle,
I Have a Motorola HS-850 that I use with my K750i. I have had some problems with it however. It may have been user error when I first attempted to pair the headset though. Whenever I turn on the headset it pairs with my phone but then gives an error message on the phone. Everything after that is normal but the annoying beep and error message makes the headset not even worth using. Has anyone else gotten their Motorola HS-850 to work??

SE should've known there headsets are older then the latest bluetooth firmware thats installed on their new phones.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA
