It is very simple. All you have to do is: for Bluetooth (assuming that you already paired your Px00 and your PC and configured the connection for being used without confirmation), simply enable appropriate Bluetooth serial ports (usually COM3 and COM4) on your PC using "Phone Connection Link" Preferences. With newer BT software you can simply select "Quick Connect -> Serial Port" and choose the Px00 from the devices list. As soon the Bluetooth icon on your P800/P900 shows that the communication has been established, you can launch any Internet program on your Px00 and start using the Internet connection of your PC. for USB connection, simply put your phone on its craddle paying attention that no Internet connection on your phone is active. Your phone will use the Internet connection of your PC automatically. Note: Not every program is able to use your PC's connection. While most 3rd party programs work that way without any problems, the built in WWW browser and the Messaging application work with GPRS/dial-up connection of your phone only. Use Opera and some third party email program (like EmailViewer) instead.

@amd...pls read the question carefully before suggesting a solution which does not address the problem....@aruna seems to be wanting to browse on the phone using the pcs internet connection....so where does dial up connection come into the picture......sometimes silence is indeed golden

I have a P8
I was able to browse the Internet via slapping the P8 on its cradle but I done an upgrade of SW on my PC, now running P9 SW because of reliability problems.
This fixed the other probs I was having but now I can't surf the Net via the cradle!
Opera is trying to establish a connection as I do not get a prompt to connect via GPRS which is how it should be when on the cradle, but it just sits there not trying to load the page!
If I can get this working again I would like to surf the Internet via my P8 over Bluetooth! Can this be done?
I DO NOT want Dial-up!! I want to use Bluetooth if possible?
Thanx for any info on this

Thanx Lau for the heads up on mrouter3!
I got my browser working again with the old version as it was a problem with a setting that somehow had changed!
I’ve now installed mRouter3 and I got Bluetooth working but I do have a few problems.
Distance is very short, only about 10 feet at best!
When this is reached the connection drops and will not reconnect using the P8.
I then have to re-establish connection from my Bluetooth software from my PC!
Is there a way to reconnect from the phone like a GPRS connection?
Is there a way to get the mRouter3 to auto connect if the connection is broken?
My hardware is IVT BlueSoleil USB dongle. Range 10ft Approx 3m
Can anyone using Bluetooth list their hardware and range they have tested please??
Thanx for any feedback everyone.

Hi
I'm using an AnyCom Blue USB Adapter 240.
It has 100 meters (330 feet) range, but since my P910 has only 10 meter range, it doesn't go much further than that.
When connection falls out of range, all I have to do is to get closer to the computer and it reconnects in one minute or so.
I wouldn't recommend my AnyCom adapter to anyone, since it's doesn't work well with file transfer. Has lots of problems recognising the phone, reconnecting, etc.... BUT somehow mRouter works very good with it!
AnyCom uses special drivers that are not the BT drivers from windows, so I guess that's his advantage & disadvantage.
Have you registered your BT adapter with the P910?
Good luck

Not sure about IR but would be very slow I guess!
BT does work well and is fast & I just got it working, see post above!
mRouter3 is easy to work with but read a few reviews before getting a BT dongle etc... Mine will not work or crashes if Outlook 2002 is running! Otherwise fine!
