Hi all. Just to let you know that those with the K800i can update via SEUS at last. This is the first update that is available since the launch (for us, anyway...)

For more books check out http://godfather.s-60.org

You'll find some great titles, e.g. Robert Ludlum, John Grisham, Stephen King et al...

@ Francois,
Thanks, I clean forgot about dotsis; I have the site saved in my AOL browser favourites at home, but not my IE or Firefox browsers. Serves me right for randomly using 3 browsers, I guess.

Anyway, here's two I found recently (for S60v3). Very busy at work, so will list more when I've got more time on my hands:

35 pages of S60 v3 apps here:

http://www.series60v3.com/index.php?categoryid=8&p13_sectionid=2

...and amongst these:

http://symbianx.com/index.php?act=dscriptca&CODE=viewcat&cat_id=3

I have 2 CD's with P800/P900 stuff on. (not all applications).
I'll see what I can do.

Why is it that women make the best auto drivers but so many of them are lethal when pushing a trolley?

@francois, thanks boet, if I get no joy from them in the next few days I'll go the hellopeter route. You can't go wrong with dotsis, an excellent site.
@Medusa, don't be surprised if we come up to do the same thing at the auction. Might as well capitalize on H's experience and the little Daihatsu is getting long in the tooth, perfect for town driving but a killer for out of town trips.

@Wanqa, thanks boet, but a gold cover is a bit too bling for me. In no particular order i've had 3210, 3310, 5100, 5110, 5210, 6150, 6230, 6630, 8210, 8310, N70. It's safe to say I'm brand loyal!

Goeie bliks... er... ja nee, that's brand loyalty alright!

I can't say I am as loyal to a specific brand, for example I've also owned a R380w, A2618, T39m, T68i, P900, T610 and T630. Funny enough, I've never had a K-series (yet).

I've also had a Panasonic VS6 and GD55, Sagem myX-5 (my first colour-screen phone) and myX-7, as well as an Orange SPV C550 Windowsmobile.

The only Motorola that I have owned is an A008 Accompli.

I've never owned a Samsung, though.

Regarding the 24k gold-plated housing, LOL, hence my description of it as 'uber-bling.

Every Wednesday, I get a UK newspaper here called MCN. (Motor Cycle News). Last week was part 1 of an enduro adventure in the Eastern Cape of all places, (which included PE but not EL...) to raise money for the Riders For Health scheme. Every year, proceeds go towards purchasing fleets of scramblers in southern Africa to enable doctors and medics to get around to patients in remote places/ emergencies.
The charity is run by ex-grand prix legend Randy Mamola.
A few pics from the first part of the article last week:

...and during my lunch time today, between esato on the tablet PC (that square on the left side of the tablet PC frame is for fingerprint recognition, but we don't use the feature..), fiddling with the new phone and reading part 2 of the article in today's issue of MCN:

Good grief! The headlines today seemed grim! All about a kid killing his mother, and 2 other papers about some 8 (another paper says 6) year old beating up his brother, resulting in eventual death...

@ Tokoloshe, once you go SE you can never go back...so enjoy Nokia while you still can...lol!

@ Kryptik, the country changes from side to side. Women driver is a swearword around here, the stench on the lips of everyone on the road. The worst is black women in their expensive Mercedes' or BMWs...usually Mercs though...Enough to make a grown wrestler weep like a little girl...the white women are close behind them, but more skilled, not much more skilled...murderous murmurs to these classes....but I do have 2 female friends, ones dad was a racing driver, down to the point of actually having pictures of him and Schumacher on his wall...she drives like a maniac, well, but really fast...the other one is the same...dunno where she got it...

@ Kryptik and Wanqa, thanks for the links, slowly mowing my way through them...ahh, i miss the days when I had a life....
