Not since the conference...
If there's anything you want to know about the phone its self, just ask - I'm sure my mate will oblige.
I expect to get my hands on one around the 13th of December as that's when I'm seeing my mate again.

cool, post the details when you have a play around with it if you could.
it's good to see some of the threads from excited people who've just seen the X!! |

Looks great but not for me without a touch screen. I'll stick with my P900 and look again when Sendo bring out a series 7 machine (or anyone else than brings out a series 7 machine that takes SD cards instead of 128MB DUO - BenQ?). |

touchscreens are quite cool, but i'd just feel like a tit stabbing at my phone with a stylus in public!!

sendo X quite a bit larger than SET610, as can be seen in the compare size esato function. glad to see they've finally listed the X.
think i can live with the size considering the amount of features crammed into it.
and the T610 is very small, so the larger X won't be too big, i hope. |

To react on the topic yes the X will be out very soon.
If they manage to do that they will be one of the only manufacturer to do what they planed.
Also yesterday on the fare I had to give 2 presentations of the P800 and P900. In the first presentation there was a guy who works for Sendo (I presume cos he had three X's in his hand, one with a translucent cover and he had some normal Sendo's) Maybe Sendo is planning a UIQ interface phone? He came in a little late but he stayed the rest of the presentation.

IT WOULD BE VERY COOL IF IT COULD DO THAT, BUT I WOULDN'T OF THOUGHT IT WAS THAT CLEVER. CLEVER YES, BUT NOT QUITE A GENIUS. I WOULDN'T EXPECT THAT KIND OF TECHNOLOGY IN SUCH A TINY DEVICE. |

It is a little thicker (X)
And not as wide as the P900.

I am thinking getting a small phone. Now I have P900,I like it very much, but it's too big.I want something with MP3 player,Video player/recorder.Theese two phones which I like are Z1010 and Sendo X.I one other my topic I asked to tell me which one to choose Z1010 or Sendo X.Most of the votes were for Z1010.I want you to tell me why do you prefer Z1010?Their size is simmilar, but which one has more functions for this size and the price will be simmilar, but which one is better for this money?
Thanks

Like the feature where you can connect the x to a folding qwerty keyboard would be very useful.
Due to cut backs the light at the end of the tunnel has had to be temporarily switched off. |

Yes the QWERTY keyboard looks great in my eyes for business people.
Which (B-People) give not so much high standards for a Smartphone (more PDAstyle like P900).
I think the X will be in the same category as the SPV E200... dunno which one will win!

why not?
if you think about the only way it could work would be:
the device uses this speaker independent voice recognition system to analyze the names of contacts, and then create a voice pattern for it, and if you match this pattern with you voice it dials the contact.
but why wouldn't it work the other way around?
first you give a voice command (a letter, or a word), and then the device analyses this voice pattern, and tries to give it a correct respons (by displaying the letter or the word)
