One question lpachuong: in my tests with this camdriver (previous Final Release), file sizes of photos is lower which others versions (280~300KB). This is normal?
Using others camdrivers JPEGSnoop result ever ~90% of compression factor, but with this "Final Release", this value is ever ~75%.
I dont think that is the problem. The reason why you only have size 280~300kb is bcz of the brightness of the picture in his previous driver. About his new driver, i dont have any problem ever and when i use jpegsnoop, i got ~90%.
lpachuong, the new sharpness is much better than last time. there is a balance between details and sharpness. Great work. |

A4A Final Reloaded Update 31/03/2008
http://www.mediafire.com/?32gxjjxuydb
Hello everyone. First of all, I am sorry for confusing you with the idea of 'Final'. From the last version, I recevied comments on sharpness and bugs, so I couldn't ignore them(thx Sombra, wickedsick, Kája and tommymar). Thank to Easter Holiday that I have some free time to check the code overall. Now I can guarantee that there is no bugs on this pack. There are some changes in my final driver.
Functions included:
- Normal Mode For EM off
- Fine Mode for EM on
- Default focus infinity + zoom preview at start up for quick shot
- Macro on for close-up shot
- Macro of for range shot
- EV -2.0: Manual magenta
- EV -1.7: Manual red
- EV -1.3: Manual blue
- EV -1.0: Manual Yellow
- EV -0.7: zoom (4x)
- EV -0.3: Force ISO
- EV 0.0: Manual Focus
- EV +0.3: Manual Exposure
- EV +0.7: Spot Metering
- EV +1.0: Manual ShutterSpeed
- EV +1.3: Manual Saturation for w810i/old w800/k750i
- EV +1.7: Manual whitebalance
- EV +2.0: Profile with scences
FAQ
- Why at the startup, there is no autofocus?
The focus default is infinity + zoom preview so that you can take picture quicker. If you want to have autofocus, change zoom to 1.1 then back to 1.0
- Why is there black screen while the pictures are being saved
In this driver, the delay time for some properties has been changed so that they are suitable with my calculation. The black screen is just a normal reaction to my solution. This will give you better quality.
- Why my k750i get crash?
This is caused by high compression. On k750i, the compression is set to 92%. If you get crash edit the driver and change JQ_FINE= $s2 5c; to the value you want (use hex calculator)
- How can I get the best colour
For the best colour (when default colour is wrong), please use EV +1.7.
- WHy the ISO are not always at ISO100 as your previous drivers
In this driver, the iso for the outdoor shots will be ISO100, however, for the indoor shots, the ISO will vary. ALthough ISO may be different, there will be almost no noise in the pictures. This time I combine the sharpness and Iso to reduce noise in the pictures.
Hope you all enjoy. |

strong, your drivers are not as sharp as lpachuong's drivers in full size. Check it out man. And I dont care how many account you have any more.
Is not sharp? what about below photos are enough sharp or not?
what your opinion?
Keep your mind this : more sharpness=more noise
all auto EM

I highlighted area where your driver is not good in my opinion:
I just suggest you how to improve your driver without any bad ideas against you. When i take pictures with lpachuong's driver those weaknesses are not significant. I just feel bad when not many people try A4A whereas I feel it is better than your. It is just a point of my view. Sorry for making you misunderstand.

Of course i know it is the socket for the cpu. If you take a carefull look at the black spot, doesn't it look like the socket got overheated?
I got this idea was bcz I linked 3 pictures together. He must be repairing that computer. Anyway, it is just a joke and dont take it serious.
