ohh, i see. you are an one of a kind collector! that's good being perfectionist. as you said before, it isnt easy though.

congratulations, it still looks good. A non-working backlight can be either a broken high voltage transformer or the display assembly itself. In rare cases it's only the clip lock of the flex cables that lead from the display to the board. In the worst case: I still have some new R380 displays.

Not like leather. It's more like the structure paint of a tool and seems to be very solid

@hanky - NICE ! I really wanted to have one of those - R380s  Unfortunately due to its - oldness . . . I can't see one anymore at my end (in pristine working condition) . . . don't MIND the back light as looooong as you got it for FREE

i didn't try to flash it. but the prvious owner did, and it didn't make any difference. but if i will fix the phone, i will use it as my second phone instead of my t68m. btw, does anyone have a brand new antenna cover for t68m? |

my bit worn r520 proto. actaully a new cover is all what needed, fone works perfectly, still great batt life

I would like your feedback regarding an issue. The greek Carreffour supermarkets distrubuted recently an advertising leaflet, offering the DECT corldess telephone Ericsson 230 for only 19,99 euro. However I wonder how it is possible to offer this phone for sale in large quantities, since it was discontinued many years ago. Could it be a fake?
I have visited the store today, but the telephone was not yet in store.
