Yes me too. They are ramping it up a bit here in Australia with registrations for more information on the Sony AU page which has never been done with a Sony/SE phone before here. In fact they are handling the launch here in Australia far better than usual as we already have launch pricing and available colours...whereas normally we aren't told anything at all until about a week before it comes out when all the info comes at once (which is not at all fun when the Xperia TX launched here in mid-December...aka 3 months or so of nothing until the week before it's launch here)
I know the release of the Z is in March but I really hope it's the beginning of March, launching after MWC is very dangerous indeed.
I've never looked forward to a phone release so much before. |

Well atleast your lucky you know when It will launch and how much,here in India bloody Sony Mobile IN hasnt posted a single PIC of Z from a very long time.This is scaring me,if it will launch in Feb or not

Sony Singapore already announced Price + a special gift (they didn't give a hint about the gift though)
Anyway, the device will be sold around 25th~28 of Feb
I might import one from Singapore then

Xperia Z heading to Singapore on 1 March for S$ 988
Sony Mobile has confirmed launch details for the Xperia Z in the Singapore market this morning. The handset will launch in the Xperia Store, Sony Stores and Sony Centres on 1 March for a RRP of S$ 988 (off contract), it will then hit telco operators from 2 March. All three colours (black, purple and white) will be available, but the purple variant will arrive one week later.
Pre-orders open on 15 February at the above stores and all pre-orders will receive an “exclusive gift”, although we’re not sure what this may be. Online pre-orders can also be made at Starhub, SingtelShop and M1.

Z smoked the HTC Butterfly nicely
Looks like HTC M7 will barely come close to Z benchmark scores even with 1.7ghz LOL.
And the camera samples of the butterfly look like a joke compared to Z's shots

Z is available in China for pre-order dated 22nd Feb.
Pre-order prices are high though, 5000 RMB (~£500).
I reckon the price will drop by release date. I expect to pick one up for around 4500 RMB in two weeks, but where is Tablet Z?
I played with my father-in-law's Note 10.1. It's actually really nice, which is why I'm super hyped.
