Hey dude.
I've had mine about a month so it is a fairly new one. It does not have the latest firmware, but it has the second newest Vodafone firmware. The only problems I've experienced was that some 3D games would play very slowly. This was only a problem with a few games though.
Other problems seem to be solved, especially if you make sure you get a recently manufactured one. You should not have any problems. The phone may be a little bit on the slow side, but it does not bother me one bit.
Thanks, but how do I make sure I get a recently manufactured one?

Pretty simple really. Ask the salesman to let you look behind the battery. Somewhere on the phone at the top right of the info written behind the battery, you should see the date it was made. Now the date is written like this:
07W50
This means 2007, week 50. So it was made in week 50 of last year (halfway through December). To be safe, I'd say go for one made after 07W48, and if possible sometime in 2008 (eg. 08W09). Mine is an 08W02 version, so its quite recent and I have no problems at all!
Good luck!

Just too cumbersome for a txt only phone now, looking at this but I'm not so sure now. How are the pics in low light with no flash/light?
The pictures in low light are crap as with any camera phone with no flash/light. If you really need a phone for that, then get one with a flash. But in all other conditions it performs absolutely fine! I've taken some awesome shots with mine. Actually, I'd say buy a real camera if you need it for low light shots, as no phone camera performs well in those conditions, flash or not.

It's probably been mentioned but i'm not going to sift through 56 pages to see, has anyone else been experiencing appalling battery life on this phone?
I finished doing a full charge and had a 10 minute phone call to find battery life was down to 80%!!!!
And this is with the phone set to gsm only, so i dread to think what the life would be like with 3g turned on. |

Go to Menu->Settings->Connectivity->Mobile Networks->GSM/3G networks->Select GSM only |

i already did that, and it just turn off the 3g..The G that represents the Gprs is still turned on. On my K750i to turn off, is in "data communication", but the w910i does not have this option.
thanks for your help. |

I guess its just a thing to do with your network operators settings or the firmware it uses. I wouldn't worry, as it won't cost you anything to have it there. It will only cost you when you start browsing pages.

Thats really weird. Are you sure there aren't other languages available? I've never seen an SE with only one language.

Uh theres no real way to do it other than flashing your phone. This will void your warranty, you could screw up your phone, and it's not that easy. Or you could pay a website to do it for you which may cost you around 8 euros, will void your warranty, and may screw up your phone.
Or you could try using SEUS again to update your phone. It will say you have the latest firmware, but it MIGHT give you the option to update anyway. If it does give you that option, do it. If it doesn't then you're stuck.
Your only option after all this is to take it back to where you got it and explain what happened. SEUS does not void your warranty, so they have to fix it for you or give you a new one under consumer rights laws (that is if your country has them).
