PK, whats the probability, would you say that any number of the next UIQ phones announced this year will have an accelermoeter?
Other than that, flash lite 3 seems to be in now, that withe the new web browser should be fantastic. Camera modules are getting better too. With UIQ 3.3 being a standard platform for different manufacturers (even Nokia wants some of the action, or so Ive heard), there should be an abundance of 3rd party apps too. Could just be that a certain storm is coming PK, just as you said |

PK you have used Paris right? How are the touch sensitive button compared to that on the K850? I hope they are much more responsive.
Also is the dpad hard pressed like a normal dpad in terms of input or is that also touch sensitive based? Its hard to tell from that gsm pic.
Im interested in Paris again after looking at that pic haha

You may be right about that, but on my k850 the touch part is like heaven. It works every time and i dont need to aim or press hard.
ont: The design on paris looks good, but is it a fingerprintmagnet, PK??

With all due respect I think along with many other aspects the touch keys on the k850 is a mixed bag. Some people say that are ok and some say they are terrible. Some even say they stopped working for theirs. Overall I would say they are crap. Im just saying this is supposed to be the flagship model for SE for 2008 so I hope everything is tip top perfect.
Also is the 5MP cam unit the same as on the G900. If so we may aswell cry now.

Yeh, I was lucky that got a "squeeky" cover and not a Brod or defected one.
If SE imo wants to keep their reputation they need to change some drastic things: nice camera in every high end "non-cs" phone, and make them stable HW and SW wise (not like k850). (and ofcourse up to date speccs)
They can make everything okay again now by releasing Paris and shiho working properly. If not, Im going to start looking at i900, tube, 3g iphone, N earth or something else fancy. (And I guess there are more people loyal to SE that are looking at other brands at this time) |

Actually id say its the other way round. With phones like the N96, F480, iphone, Soul and Viewty there has never been more competition for phones and SE really cant afford to get it wrong. Compared to S60, UIQ has been a bit of a let down but hopefully this phone will change things. I say hopefully but it seems im saying "hopefully this phone will...." on a regualr basis when it comes to SE.
