Great pix and a very informative report, Wanqa. Been tied up with the usual last-term humdrum, and to cap it all i seem to have mislaid my buddy's marriage certificate! Seems as if he's still single, whether he likes it or not

Thanks guys.
I did not get round to the show again today; far too much workload to get through. Oh well, I can't complain too much.
In pseudo 'Q' voice: "Right, now pay attention 007":
Da Wanqsta obtained er...generous handfuls of freebies at the show, most notably loads of genuine and S60 lanyards and straps.
Why? To sell in esato's market section or eBay? Mindless hording? Nah, why should only people in the EU get all the stuff?! Saak that!
So where's this leading? Below is a pic of the 4 different types of lanyards and straps that I've got handfuls of from the show. The genuine orange ones don't have the Walkman logo on them, even if they're in 'Walkman Orange'. The small black one at the bottom is one of the Opera browser phones straps.
Now then, for this SA forum's members only, if you see one or two that you like, PM me your PO Box/ postal address (I can address it to your username with the address, if you want ) and I will post it/ them to you... no charge or catch; you can take it as an early gift from Wanqa Claus!
(Mario 2k+, you already have a few that I sent with the S60 stuff posted to you last year.)
I can post them next week, and if they are not 'intercepted' by any unfaithful SA postal workers, they should get to you the week after.
Let me know if you want any of these:
Regards,
Wanqa the Wonderful.
PS: the S60 and UIQ sweets in the lower pic are mine...all mine!!!!!

@da wanqsta: That's too generous. So you're not even asking for postage?

@ da brixsta,
Agh nooit; a Pound or 2 here and there is not gonna leave me on a diet of baked beans on toast for the rest of the month; hell no, you can stick me a Black Label when I'm next in CT.
Hell, I'm earning good money, I don't see it as too generous...it's great just knowing that I can get stuff like this for people other than just the EU countries; I've always championed fairness and anti-monopoly controls...why should they get everything here?!
Help yourselves.

@ wanqa, that is so nice of you for a lack of a better word! Can i have the orange one? Thank you for doing this for us:)
So i am reconnected again. I felt so naked(luckily not childless:) without being able to contact anyone. Was such a mission to get connected again, but after 40 yards of vodacom crap, i am back! |

@ Francois,
No probz, swaer. There's around 7 of the orange ones, so I'll put one aside for you.
I'm gonna keep one of the orange ones for myself too.
I've got to get to the post office by next Wednesday, so as long as I have a PO Box address or any postal address, or even work one or whatever (via PM) by next Tuesday at the latest, I'll send it off.
As mario did last year, just let me know if you've received it.

@ guys, just to re-clarify with the above quote, I only put a single one of each type in the 2nd photo to make it clearer to see what each one looks like, compared to the heaps in the first pic.
Thus, for example, I still have 5 of the SE ones left, 6 of the blue S60 ones and a few of each of the others, so I really don't mind if there's a second one that you're after as well, but it's obviously first come, first served.
Put it this way, I've got no other use for so many lanyards and straps, and I don't think Mrs. A would appreciate me using them all as cellphone-themed tinsel for the Christmas tree in late December...

Quick update, after checking all the PMs:
There's now 2 ones left, 2 'Opera Power' browser black straps left, 6 of the S60 and 2 of the grey S60 strap, plus 1 white S60 left.
Time's a-tickin', help yourselves...this don't happen everyday, innit?
