That's why I ask. I don't know.

For me it’s DOF. The flower and stem next to it are sharp. Rest stems and leafs behind them are blurry. It may look a little bit flat cos there is low contrast between stem on the first plan and other stems placed on the background but in my opinion it’s still DOF.
@ idumbakumar – fantastic DOF. I love the contrast between main subject and the background which is very colorful. Great concept. Great example of this month's theme. Very well done.

Here's my (or better André Rieu's) bus again, didn't have time to find a better subject. Quick snap with my trusty N95, which still serves us well as a satnav device in my car.
When the photo was taken, the Dutch football team was still in the EURO2012, hence the flag in the background

The theme is indeed Depth of Field, it doesn't say small or large DOF, the macro photos have a very small DOF, the bus a large one.
From Wikipedia
In optics, particularly as it relates to film and photography, depth of field (DOF) is the distance between the nearest and farthest objects in a scene that appear acceptably sharp in an image. Although a lens can precisely focus at only one distance at a time, the decrease in sharpness is gradual on each side of the focused distance, so that within the DOF, the unsharpness is imperceptible under normal viewing conditions.
In some cases, it may be desirable to have the entire image sharp, and a large DOF is appropriate. In other cases, a small DOF may be more effective, emphasizing the subject while de-emphasizing the foreground and background. In cinematography, a large DOF is often called deep focus, and a small DOF is often called shallow focus.
