i cant seem to be able to get the front cover off the phone to change it to pink. the top two bits come off but the bottom ones are totally stuck!!!

By the way, has anyone any problems with calls on the phone? My mum says after maybe 5 minutes on 2 of her calls the phone just went silent, and you could not hear the person on the end of the phone, and they could not hear her. Has anyone else experienced this?

yeah, the front cover was very sticky at the bottom part but if you have a little confidence and pull hard with a constant force it does click off. I have to put the pink on for my daughter, who, btw, hasn't experienced the 5 min problem you mention.

I see that o2 have put these back up to £99.99 again. I guess they were popular, but you do get the headset still.

I'm getting the feeling that my wife would like one but I just got her a D600 to be delivered on wednesday to maybe replace her D500, so we'll see.

Its still £79.99 when I look. Were you looking at the normal page or the student version of it?

that'll be OR, not AND!... she doesn't use one phone much really (a few calls and texts to the kids and I) so two would be a total waste

still, gives me a chance to play with the D600

I see O2 student also has the 8800 for £224.99 on a £19 contract which sounds fairly good though I still can't see the attraction of that phone but probably for that same reason... I want one!

You meany!!!

How can o2 justify £225 for student contract, how many students could afford that for a phone and a contract

I got my girlfriend one the other week from the o2 student shop and its a pretty good phone for £80 plus a free bt headset imo its a bargin.

I always have a look on o2 student every few days, if your lucky you can get some pretty good bargins, so far i've got:

Nokia 3100 for £9.99
Nokia 6030 for £29.99
Moto v547 for £14.99 (was ment to be a v220 but i got my order in just as they run out of stock so they sent me the v547 instead)

and of course the Z520 for £79.99

But you can only order a maxium of 2 phones every 6 or 12 months (or you could just create loads of accounts and use different details but you have to make sure both delivery address and credit card details are all different)

@masseur agreed but still £225 on contract seems abit ridiculous...

It is a cracking phone, grea quality especially at the price, getting one for my mum for xmas, as soon as she saw it she wanted one.

And yes the covers are quite stiff just take the top part off and prise it off and it should snap off unbroken*

*I will not be held responsable for any broken covers
