Aquila blokia boy, k700 calendar accepts recurring events, you just have to sync with outlook, something that blokias have problem with...plus you are forgetting 6230 crap building quality, tiny and inferior quality screen, primitive looking menus, no themes, no 3d games, no online update, inferior camera in daylight, worse sound, enough?

| Where are you mib1800 to comment Nokias technologically edge over SE? I think you have some arguements in here which can't be overlooked. |

i think this 6230 and K700 must be the one of the most debated ever.
i hv just one question for the diehard SE fans who were debating here - why is it so d*mn hard for SE to put a memory card slot into the K700?
Even the S700, SE intentionally crippled it by not supporting DuoPro (just like the P900).
what is SE agenda? i just cannot see the rational here.

arez: well, nokia is and was always better in syncyning with outlook it's nice that k700i does support recurring events in terms you have to enter them over outlook. but you are forgetting, that many times one has to enter an event while having ONLY the phone.
so in that case you will need to place into your calendar "don't forget to make this thing recurring in my outlook" not to mention, you CANNOT edit "recurring" events in the phoen .. so yet again "don't forget to edit this and that item in the office"
quite useless this "recurring" approach, don't you think ?
the screen quality is exactly the same k700i has got only bigger screen, that's all
menus are not primitive they are simple and effective ..
you what, professionals don't give a fu&*#*%* about themes, 3D games (how many are out ?:), camera that sucks on both phones deeply and better say on all phones. and it suitable only for MMS
with SE you cannot even, change tone for SMS and actually you cannot still attach any photo to your contact, since there is this silly and pathetic 1,2second delay even with the very latest FW
arez, let's face it, k700i is only suitable for teenagers with 10 contacts and some pay as go card not for real men |

with the SMS warining, on my P900 I am able to change the message tone to any MP3/Midi ringtone as I want, currently, I can not find this option on my S700i/K700i/T616 etc. Seems like the Px00 design team must be a seperate branch from the SE phone dept!

Nokia users just can't face the fact that K700 is aimed for youth and still does things better than Nokia 6230 which is aimed for "business men" It must feel like a punch on all of your nose who owns 6230.
aguila2,
you are wrong as usual, display is not only bigger but also better.
Colours to Nokia 6230's display look worse because of bad colour transition and bad colour transition is due to low pixel amount.
Nokia 6230 has 2 247 pixels/cm2
Sony Ericsson K700i has 3 709 pixels/cm2

hey. from what i've seen. those 6230 pictures that u people have are 'out dated'
i own a 6230 and i've ugraded my firmware recently. the picture quality is still not on par with the k700. the colour richness has improved a lot but it is still not is still not up to k700's standard. however, k700 pictures have a lot of noise..which the 6230 doesnt have (or very minimal). |

aquila, i wonīt waist more time with you...itīs clear you intention is to provoque k700 users by repeating the same stupid arguments over and over...very typical of that peculiar primate species, the nokia-fan-boy

The topic clearly says "which cam is better? K700 or 6230?" so why are you arguing about memory, menu, calendar and SMS alert? I think it's enough to know that in daylight K700i has superior quality but grainy in poorly lit environments, while 6230 has a bad color fidelity but has less or no pixelation even in poorly lit environment. Why is that so hard to accept?
resistance is futile. |
