@ common
I really enjoy surfing with the P800 from where ever I am in the appartment..
My problem is that I have to restart the BT serial port from time to time...every second minute or so.. . Anyway I use the Billionton sw together with the Tecom bt3030 and I think it may work better with your tecom1.rar. How do I extract this file? Is it not an ordinary RAR file? It is not working with my expresszip anyway. Would appreciate some help with this..
Cheers! |

@everyonewithatecomBT3030
Hey! How far do you guys get a link with the P800?! Is it 100 meters or just the 10 meters from the class 2 device (P800).
Pwease! I'm about to get a BT adapter soon, and I don't wanna get a crappy one with only 10 meters range if the 100 meter devices would work as well.
Thanks a lot! |

only 10 meters with tecom 3030!
and also when installing the actbusb I get an error:
CRC failed in Bluetooth Software.msi
Unexpected end of archive
is that normal?

Hi friends,
Well I get it working with the Billionton sw (link frome Esato for the sw)I use win me. Problem seems to be that the SE sw looses contact with the comport from the BT sw (serial comport 5). The BT link is still up but the P800 is not connected according to the SE sw. To be able to surf via BT I need to have the SE sw see that the P800 is connected. Does anybody have another suggestion??? Would really like some advise here..:0

Does anyone know who develops this drivers ?
I guess the problem I had (see my post over bridge + XP) is a driver problem.
Who should I send a bug report to ?
Thx !

Common, many thanks for this fix. It works fine with my D-Link DBT-120 dongle and tecom1 driver. It's a bit dissapinting that the Inbox is gone from the Object Push client. Fortunately, I still can send stuff to my phone by right-clicking on the Object Push icon and selecting 'paste.'
I wonder if anybody have had lany luck with the audio profiles. I don't have a bluetooth headset, so i tried to connect my pc as a headset to the phone. Well the phone transfers calls to the pc but I cannot hear anything from the speakers I played a bit with XP audio settings switching between the soound card and 'Blueetooth Audio.' Yet, I couldn't make it work. Any ideas?

Did you ever connect your Billionton USB dongle with T68i or BT headset ?
I have Billionton USB with 1.3.2.7 driver installed with Win98 notebook. I can't get it work with my T68i. When I try to pair the devices. Message from the phone "Paring Succeeded". On the notebook. The system comes up with message "Authentication with device T68i failed".
Any suggestions ?
Thx !

Yes I can get them to connect. I have the same setup as yours. same BUD & same driver. Tried it with my Dell latitude laptop and it connects to my t68i. I'm using MobileAgent to manage my sms and contacts.
Whenever I get the authentication error, what I do is unpair them both and pair them again. Works for me always. Good luck! |

Ive got a Bluetake Poke 2 TH USB dongle and can currently send files to the phone and connect the serial port for PC control purposes which to me is good
But i cant send files from phone to PC tho What am I doing wrong?
Im not using the latest drivers so is this the reason why I cant send phone to PC or is to do with the security settings of my BT dongle??
Any advice would be appreciated.....incidentally I HAVE tried to use the latest drivers and my PC (probably was in a bad mood or something!!?? win2k SP3, Athlon 1.33GHz 768MB RAM) refused to recognise my dongle!! AHHHHHH!!

Thanks for the advise !
I tried. But still no luck. I believe there is conflict between the BTStackServer and my Lotus Note installed. Each time when I start "My Bluetooth Places". Window for MS-DOS Prompt pop up. Prompt me for the Lotus Note User ID.
Need to try with another notebook without Lotus Note ??? |

Got the TDK software installed just fine, but when I tried using the btwusb.inf file from both the tecom1 and tecom_test rar's, Windows is unable to install my new hardware after I point to the appropriate directory. This is for a D-Link DBT-120. Anyone else having this trouble?
Thanks for any and all tips..

@MADNESS
that's weird coz I'm using lotus notes 4.6 myself and I don't get a prompt for a password. maybe you should try it in another pc to see if it really is the problem. ;( |

Finally managed to fix all the problems with installing the D-Link DBT-120 bud using the TDK software. I've posted a complete how-to and all the necessary files you need in order to get this combination to work. The link also includes the license.dat file needed to avoid the license key request issue which I encountered after following more or less the initial instructions. Full info is available from:
http://www.SponsorsWin.com/bluetooth/
I haven't been able to get the Audio Gateway feature to work yet though, always says it can't connect.. anyone been able to get this to work with a D-Link ?
Cheers!
