SE knows which country keeps them afloat. It definitely isn't U.S. Why Russia and Asia the first ones to be offered the new phones? They pay full price without incentives. The culture in those countries are always changing phones every 3-6 months. It's all about money.

This is the phone I've told you all that SE should make and they did. I specifically stated last March that SE should be allowed to integrate a phone with capability or compatibility with the PS3! Too bad they 1) waited to long - PS3 sales have been dwindling (too costly and not enough incentive or features beyond the other consoles for the masses to see), and 2), quite frankly they only put Euro HSPA in it: 900/2100Mhz. What does those of us in North & South America not want a phone like this?
IF SE keeps segregating phones too much like this - leaving the top-tier models without bands that ppl in North & South America can use on AT&T/Rogers/Mobilia then sales will continue to drop in these hard economic times.
PS don't think for a moment that ppl cannot buy phones in the USA; look at what TMobile is doing regarding new contracts and deferred new hardware sales on subsidy over a 4mth period.
For me I'm going with "Idou" as THAT is what I'm after!

This phone looks wise looks fantasic. I don't knwo what SEs build quality at sliders has been recently but they should get this right.

The browser if i remember correctly is netscape 3.5 like on all SE's. Anyway lol i am really trying to get my parents hooked on buying me this phone. Sure i havent been all that responsible with school(im on border with 50 for all subjects on the report card and you need over 200 points to pass. Thank god if i right an 80 i get 160 so i can do it no prob) And i have dropped 3 phones into the toilet but by mistake. So yeah im set on buying it no matter how much it costs.(if it costs less then 500 which i doubt i will jump for joy) |

The more I look at this phone the more I like it. It may not be S60 or Symbian otherwise but it has everything one could need. Great camera, storage, good battery, great audio quality, great design, great connectivity options. Even the screen size is nice. How much do you think it will be sim free? £350?
This might be a silly question but is the screen flush or....well not sure what the correct term for the opposite is but like the n95 screen was.

or
Should I buy this W995? Because this phone will be the best of all Sony Ericssons Walkman-branded phones.
