Do you have it working on P990i? Did you buy direct from TomTom site or a store? |

How much were they doing it for? Was it just the software DVD or one of the SD Card + Receiver bundles? |

I already had the receiver from my tomtom navigator 5 which originally cost me £200 which had the receiver and basic uk map, feel a bit cheesed off really as i bought the gb+ (full postcode search) for nav 5 (no nav 5 maps work with nav 6 btw) not long ago, so nav 5 cost me £260 in total now £95 for the nav 6 software (although its got gb+ (full postcode search) and western europe on it. The cost soon mounts up.
my advice is buy a gps receiver off ebay for about £30-£40 and just buy the software (dvd) only version. |

Pretty much what I have done. Ordered a Globalsat BT-359 Receiver from clove.co.uk (they are doing the Globalsat BT-359 at a very good price IMO - in fact they are doing a good price on the new Holux GPSlim 240 too) and ordered the DVD software from TomTom direct. I would have ordered the software from Clove too, but they don't have it and are saying 20th October for availability. |

Hi everyone.
Just a quick question. Does it make a difference which version of navigator 6 i buy for my P990i.
There seem to be two, the sd card version and the dvd version.
Are both compatible with the P990i or is it only the dvd version?
Sorry if this is a stupid question but i am unsure at the moment and don't want to buy the wrong one.
Thanks in advance.
Ollie
