Hey fellow P1i potential buyers,
I was checking Expansys as I often do lately and I was surprised to that even if the status of the P1 hasn't changes (Order on request) it seems that the price has dropped.
If I remember correctly it was first at £549 it is now at the incredible price of

£449.95

yes

£449.95

I hope it continues to go down. Drop it another £50 or so and it will be a real winner.

I might make a purchase on Expansys very soon.

I've just checked a few pages back and someone was saying that the planned price in his nearby shop was €549~£370.

Expansys shave another £70 of your price and count me in.

i think you made a mistake, you wanted to say €449.95, right? like EUROS not POUNDS..

@uroshzmaj

Maybe you should check the facts before criticizing some one as he is absolutely correct in stating the price @£449.95 from Expansys no mistake that is the price they have it at.

Also it really is not necessary to quote a whole post every time you reply many visit ESATO via mobile devices and even use WAP and it is very annoying for them to have to see a whole previous post please have some consideration for fellow users.

A friend of mine that works for Vodafone and knows I'm waiting for the P1i sent me a message earlier to say that SE had just done a presentation in his store and it didn't look like they were going to be doing the P1. Very strange if true...

That's the second post I've seen suggesting that Vodafone won't carry the P1. That's very bad news for me, since I was hoping to upgrade to it (on Voda).

I wonder if this is some kind of fallout from the CS problems they may have had with the P990 (and M600, and W950)...

You and me both. Looks like it may well have to be a Nokia instead now...

Perhaps they would but I could have got it on a free upgrade as I'm overdue one with Vodafone so that's what rules it out for me personally.

If it's anything like the M600, P990 etc (which it is) any firmware branding can be taken off very easily, so that's not really an issue. I'd much rather have it on Voda since (a) it's the best network IMO, and (b) it would have been a cheap/free upgrade for me.

but it would have the voda logo? well the m600 on voda did here. i know the p990 didnt there.

i just dont like branding, dont want to have to go through the hassle of debranding it. just buy it like that and your all settled
