Hmmmmmm take it with a bag of salt but I am hearing that Sony may come up with a large sized 20 megapixel sensor for 2 2H phones, about the same size sensor as Nokia N8

Also an ODM phone is on the cards with Mediatek Quad A7 chip

I also felt the same way as zomgbbqftw:

Stringer was a transformational CEO, he changed Sony a lot and without him Kaz would not be in a position to turn the ship around.

He was the first CEO to get a Japanese electronics company to work as one rather than a bunch of different companies all trying to sabotage each other. Part of the reason Stringer was chosen was to force the old school Japanese middle management out in having to answer to a non-Japanese CEO.

Even today other Japanese companies struggle to be more than the sum of their parts while Sony is finally realising that the whole is greater. Integrating a company like Sony is no easy task and Stringer failed, there is no doubt about it, but he opened the door for it to happen and his "Sony United" mantra is basically the same as Kaz saying "One Sony" on stage. Blasting that door down and getting the old management out of the way was Stringer's biggest achievement. His biggest failure was to pump money and time into 3D at home. It was his baby, I get why he did it, he saw 3D as something that the company could unite behind and work together on, but 3D is shit show. They would have been much better off getting 4K online earlier and selling to the premium sector, and that would also have enabled a lot of intracompany work and breaking down the silos.

Anyway, it's wrong to think that Stringer was shit, he wasn't. He was handed about the worst hand possible any CEO could get. Remember just when he had got Sony onto a sound footing in 2008, the bottom fell out of the economy, once he fixed that by 2011 Japan suffered a devastating Tsunami, and soon after their factories in Thailand were flooded causing a bunch of damage and halting production of one of their hottest products (NEX range).

So yeah there were losses, and there were tantrums from Japanese management, but without him Sony would be looking a lot like Sharp right now and selling off its media and banking assets to bring cash in.

Anyway, in Kaz we trust .
