SE have been busy

Yet another new SEUSII out Version 2.6.3.3.
Open SEUSII and it should auto update to the new version

Hope the New Firmware is just behind it

I notice that SE are frequently updating the version of their SEUS installers.

Does anyone have an educated answer as to the immediate advantages of this?

maybe the developers are keepin an eye over these kinda forums....

maybe the recently released SEUS versions are really faulty...

thats why they hafta make some certain adjustments... im just hoping theyd do the same for firmwares.... i just hope..

It would be nice to have Voice Dialling on the K750 like the T610/T630/Z600.

Instead of having to remember whether you said the caller's full name or just their first name then 'mobile' or 'home'. So silly if the caller has a long name then you gotta say home, mobile, etc... after it without a pause.

Then there can be up to 4 voice tags per contact! Instead of just the one voice tag per contact like the T6x0.

I liked the T610 when I can just say the name of the person I want to dial, then it would beep at me again to say 'Home', 'Mobile', etc... So much more easier.

I wonder if SE would be able to change this via a Firmware upgrade?

Wrt the german e-mail, here's what Systran has to say:

"Very honoured customer, very honoured customer,

thank you for your inquiry to the Sony Ericsson call center.

Our Backoffice indicated us that it will give which to 11 a new update
in the calendar week the described conflict recovers. We would ask you
the update to bring in as soon as this are available. They find it
then over our on-line Aktuallisierungsservice within the area
"support" on http://www.sonyericsson.com/de

Please you contact us, if we can offer further support to you,
and visit you us also under www.sonyericsson.com. Here we offer
constantly new information and interesting supplies - e.g. ring of
tone or Virtual Phones."

I bet this has something to do with week 11 of the calendar year, which happens to be next week

Fingers crossed

So the R1BA013 firmware is not an official one, that's it? What is the cruiser team? And where can we get that firmware?

Perhaps tion could provide more insight into this email from SE?

Judging by his posts I don't find that email credible unless he proves otherwise, anyway, find this "last firmware" information a hoax, it may be more than one in future

How can i get a firmware update without doing it myself??? I'm only asking as i don't have a decent net connection at home. I tried my local service centre and they just looked at me funny and then told me they'd have to charge me for it if the phone wasn't faulty???? Both my k750 and w800 need doing.

Wha?!

Then tell them of the firmware faults/bugs your K750 and W800 have. Then they wouldn't need to charge you for the update.

I agree with kristianm, say the phone behaves in a temperamental fashion, freezing, resetting, etc, etc. But only does it sometimes...

Make sure you back everything up, naturally! And it may pay to put in an anonymous phone call beforehand to confirm that it is actually the very latest firmware that you are getting, and not just the same version!

Of course, most preferable would be to go to work, or a friend's work (somehow) and flashing it over SEUS there...
