I visited Elgiganten today, they had some black X1's in the shop.
I got to play with one for a few minutes.
It feels heavy in the hand and it vibrates when you click on the display (I haven't read about that before).
The salesman told me they have 100 X1's, though I'm not sure if that's
the whole chain of ElGiganten in Sweden (probably not this shop in the north of Sweden).
6500 swedish krona / 655 EUR was the price.
Still can't decide if I want one (WM phone that is, I have a P990 now). |

If that is meant to be the device that 'makes the HD look pale in comparison' to quote M-R then I'm not impressed. Not too dissimilar from the HD like you say but a welcome addition nonetheless. |

Nice. that's the one I want, I find silver ugly in comparison. Black is my color
For you and everyne else who's got it:
Tell us more about UI speed, stabiliy, battery performance (in a few days naturaly). everything that can't be find in spec sheet, but important.
in my opinion the phone is VERY slow. im just gonna use the phone a few days and give it to a friend of mine, Didnt like the phone :/
I am really dissapointed with that news
I love my p990 but I am not as patient as I use to be with these things.
I will wait for the first videos on YouTube or something and then decide. |

I am in a huge dilemma in which colour I prefer, All along I thought Black seemed to be a Sophisticated and dark horse, Probably the better for viewing movies since the Black anodisation around edge will be less visiblie compared to the silver variant, However the silver seems more High-tech looking, (beam me up scotty), and would catch your eye more bling-tech (New word) any-way I am still unsure,
What colour/color do you prefer and why? |

If the phone's slow in the beginning, dont worry, it should become faster with few days, its due to indexing. Also battery life should increase in few days as well. |

I miss two features:
1. I want to have a cursor to control with the optic pad, like on some HTC.
2. I want vibration feedback every time i press the touch screen, not just when i klick on a panel.
Both these features are present in other Windows Mobiles. I guess it cant be impossible to get it to work in X1. To bad I dont have a clue what to do.

I dont understand how people can say its slow? You mean slow compaired to feature phones? Or genuinely slow?
Because in previews/reviews a lot of people actually said the X1 was the fastest WM6.1 phone available.. |
