just a heads up.. reading these forums i came to the conclusion that my Z710 would support the 16gb m2. After trying it, it does not. While I can actually access the data beyond its actual supported size (2GB as posted on the SE product page), there are lots of problems that arise.

So, before buying a large m2 card, be sure to check the product page as it tells you the max size the phone will support. Oh well, I guess I've got an excuse to upgrade >:)

I just purchased the 16gb for my c905, I will report on how well it works once it arrives.

Well it should work... I don't see a reason why 16gb M2 won't work with C905.

I knew it would work, it was more of a question of what the side effects would be, lag etc. I'm happy to report the C905 handles 16 gigs of music with no problem at all No lag whatsoever in the media player!

That's nice to hear, which means storage size is no longer an advantage for i8510 ^^

I'm happy to report that the 16 GB card works perfectly in my w760i. Thanks guys for the reassurance. I also tested it in a w580i and it also works fine, only in "phone status" it shows just 4 GB but in "memory status" (file manager) it reports the correct figure.
