Does anyone have any firm dates when this is out on a UK network? Does any one know any online shops that do a SIM free version (non-botched software) on a contract?

Just got mine delivered from carphone warehouse. Unlocked version as well on O2 contract.

Any chance you can list your firmware version?

I'll post mine up later when I get home. That way, we can figure out if O2 have applied any branding to their handsets (if at all).

don't have a w950 but i think to check the firmware, try:

*/\\*\\/\\/*\\/*

where /\\ = scroll side wheel up
\\/ = scroll side wheel down

give it a try and see.

I just spoke with 02 Customer Services and they tell me that the W950i will not be available until January 15th. Can anyone confirm this?

And what are the compelling reasons for getting the W950i over an M600 with a couple of memory cards. Not that the M600 is available on O2 yet either...

The W950i is available from e2save and onestopphoneshop on the o2 network. Does anyone have any ideas when it'll hit orange as i want to take advantage of the good text tarifffs and the free broadband
