its very easy, it even has pictures in the step by step guide. just download SEUS II and you'll be fine.
id just recommend a connection quicker than 56k coz that will make u wait 2 hours |

Hi,
I had the same problems updating my phone. Everything was working until the last bar and then "script error". I tried multiple times with the same results.
I then did 2 things:
- Free up some memory on the phone (I had a lot of pictures)
- Re-install Macromedia Flash player through IE
I then tried again and it worked. Not sure you have the same problem, but I think the Flash install is what fixed it. It is said to be a pre-req on the SE site and did not realize it was not fully installed on my laptop until I went to the Macromedia site.
Hope this helps.

I'm one of those that kept on getting message saying my k750i has up-to-date firmware and I know for a fact that I don't. Did anyone manage to get around this problem? |

@dpelican
"Did anyone manage to get around this problem?"
This is not a 'problem', it is simply that your operator hasn't released a customised version of the latest firmware at this point.

Stupid script error. And yes, I've tried the suggestions so far. I've now got a semi-updated phone, but I'd appreciate it if I got the update done properly.
Looks like its another trip to the SESC for me. -.-
edit// nevermind.. i updated it just then. I wasnt watching but i thought I saw the 'lightning backgruond, but that was before i looked down, then back up to see that the screen had changed to the 'update finished' or whatever. So like.. WTF?
Heres my software info, can anyone confirm if theres anything wrong, because it still says R1N035 in there... unless thats supposed to be there. If not, then f**k you SE.

So, Im trying to use this new update service, however I have a problem when it asks to remove the sim card, hold down the C button and connect the usb cable. When i do this nothing happens. I have downloaded the update service usb driver, but can't install it (thats if its not allready installed) because the instructions state that i have to do the same procedure as above, turn off the phone, hold down C etc, but once again no installation process continues, the usb driver instructions say the found new hardware window will come up, but it doesnt, windows just recognises the phone is connected and it comes up as a drive, etc.
Can any one help me on this? i wouldnt mind making use of the new firmware. Thanks

Hi!
I updated to R1AA008 in december and got the background noise/cut off signal problem. Saw the SEUS II client was available (norway) and gave it a try. Hm, indeed it updated the phone. I've still got R1AA008 after the update though. Does anybody know if it has been revised? Unfortunately it's too late for me to phone tonight, so I don't know if the bug is fixed.

Hello all,
Does anybody update from R1NA005 to R1AA008 and can confirm
reduction of noise when playing low volume MP3s ?
It's a pity I cannot listen to soft songs, the sound is really noisy
On the other hand, I'm affraid of the bug introduced with R1AA008
(Increased background noise during phone calls when the volume level is set to a low level.)
TIA for your answers.

@Hesky
Thanks for the clarification. I guess mine still isn't properly updated.
@HappyKhan
I'm not too keen on doing master resets so that isn't an option for me. Other people have solved it differently though.
I might just take it to a SESC. But I really can't be bothered.. |

@ laurentg0
In total I wouldn't update. The noise at low levels in mp3's is still there and the new backgound noise during calls is really annoying.
