Glad i've just found this. Have just bought another X10 so shall be wanting to debrand it soon.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose  |

Cant get it to work. After copying the new files over and selecting repair again the pc companion just redownloads the firmware. I can see the 2 renamed files reset to 0kb then increase as the pc companion finish's downloading.

Same problem here while trying to revert to R2BA020. Even though I have run the process before it never used to download the firmware like this every time

Didn't work with mine either as all the Orange browser bookmards are still there.

I ended up using davinci to debrand mine. Was only a little over £8 to do.

Just tried Davinci to debrand a white X10. I chose the sensuous black customised UK fw and it completely failed after it went through the complete process.
However, when I switched on the phone it just gave me a yellow exclamation mark.  Total waste of money.
I had to use SEUS to sort it out, which it did.

hi I wonder if i have to repair my X10i once before being able to find the 111MB file in the blob_fs folder because currently I can only see some 10KB files in it... |

like others, doesnt work here, keeps reverting back to the branded firmware, both the phone and the blob_fs files... any ideas?
