Why i can't find the found at mobile shop and cannot see it at the Sony Ericsson site?

only out in selected country....Malaysia not in the list unless you try grey market unit as TW/ HK already selling it for months. I got mine from China since I can't wait but its painful experience as i need facebook not QQ |

wow AP NEO is almost same price as ARC?
that is over priced. I got mine at China because I am working there and its around RM1500, HK is around RM1400. I know Taiwan is NT13000 plus which is around RM1400 too. If someone offering ARC price than either ARC is dirt cheap at Malaysia or the person is gila (crazy) Money.
the reason is obvious. Maybe you are new here. When the earthquake struck Japan. SE have problem in securing some of the component. Story claim its the LCD and Camera that come from Japan. In the end Neo have tough time to get component to secure. If you read on SE global press. I mentioned Arc/ Play/ Neo and Pro all get affected. So Neo ends up at Selected country. How they choose which Market get it first. I am not sure but I just deflashed my unit to a Generic Malaysia firmware last week that have all the standard stuff like Market/ Facebook/ Google Map....its still at Android 2.3.2 but hopefully in July we will see Malaysia selling it then I can get 2.3.3
the happy part is now I can use Skype Video Chat on Neo. Arc can't do it....originally I am thinking about using Arc but then later I realize I need the video chat camera for Skype. So its better option for me. |

saw this chart on gsmarena while browing optimus black review , seems that the neo brightness is much lower than the arc and the competition.

OK I am now thinking of getting one of these this week. But what is strange to me is this. Carphone Warehouse say they have stock as do Clove,Unlocked Mobiles,Play.com aswell as others. Yet Sony Ericsson online shops & places like Amazon says Pre Order. I don't get it. How can stores have stock but NOT Sony Ericsson??

The AP Neo i can get it for RM1200. AP Arc i can get it for RM1500
I heard that news also, that's why i'm now thinking which one i gonna buy....
Why Arc can't use Skype Video Chat?
But the Arc's camera is better than Neo? I know both are using the same hardware, but which the quality seems different? |

I'm not sure how it is in the UK but the smaller shops in Manila are probably sourcing their new SE android phones from Hongkong or Singapore. The end result is that one of the mobile shops in the malls already has an Xperia Xplay for sale while the SE shops have no idea when their Neo's are coming in. Crazy  |

Haha, I can't even found Neo at SE website and the original Neo at the market, except the AP
I don;t see a camera in front tht is why you can view the other side only |

I am now the proud and happy owner of a brand spanking new Neo. I love it more than i thought i would. I much prefer it to the Arc in terms of design and its not too thin. Its build quality is nice as is the screen which people were saying was not as good as Arc. It seems sharper but thats cos its smaller screen size. Will report more as i use it.
