Here is one additional info from former Pro app developer: Display is indeed FHD+ resolution in lower end of 400dpi spectrum and the reason why it's not QHD is because Samsung doesn't offer them in 1440p for such a small diagonal size (maybe for such small order quantity). Display is super high quality, its hardware customized by Sony so it's not all ODM like Chinese brands order. In my opinion this sounds like another expensive display, so I guess all those cost cutting rumors were not quite true.
Haha I love how Sony always surprises us. Just hope it does not grow light sabre banding across the display after a few months or even any at all. Hope they created a real bright display which does not heat up much and can maintain at least 30 minutes of ultra brightness (hoping manual setting of 1500 nits throughout at the least). Great for outdoor super sunny day photography and filming when needed to look at the display and it not automatically go dim because of heating up.

IT state telemacro compatibility. Meaning likely uses telephoto zoom lens as macro lens. Hope it's focus and sharpness quality does not disappoint for all it's range of lenses!

What the hell's a "hi-res headphone"? A headphone is a headphone. They range from poor to amazing sound quality, and cheap to mind-bendingly expensive. So a decent pair of wired in-ears would be nice, but to be honest bundling them makes no sense, because most consumers want wireless. And really fussy people who want a quality wired pair want to pick their own.
Oh, supposed full details at gsmarena.

Promo material is out.
Brightest screen on xperia, LTPO , sunlight vision, 85-170mm, macro by periscope, 48MP mode, human pose estimation, object tracking, 24 ➡️48mm, creative look, s-cinetone, real time eye AF, 399 focus points, 4K@120, video creator, new cam UI, 5000mAh, VC, 8g3, Qi charging/Qi reverse charging, bigger camera button,
Looks like Sony is gonna claim battery endurance more than 2x compared to mark 5.
Videoplayback : Mark 4 at 13h, Mark 5 at 17h and Mark 6 at 36h.
⚠️⚠️⚠️ : Financial data is out. 2023-24 revenue was 84% of 2022-23.

I'm about to downgrade for the display resolution then... from 2796 x 1290 6.7inch to 2340 x 1080 6.5 inch.
Hope it's not that horrible.

Super highly you still unable to see the pixels. 400PPI and above is still very tightly bounded together. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 was 300 PPI I can only squint to see the pixels. |

About Xperia camera, they are focusing more on Macro and Portrait. Hardware upgrade is minimal, AI doing the lifting works.

Ok, announcement has explained why there was no video pro features in new camera app screengrabs that i saw earlier. Pro Video is not ready yet and it will come out by the end of the year most likely. That's what you get when you shuffle software developers and switch teams.
Anyway i will be in Japan within ten days ans this time around i will get all my Japanese sony power users and affiliates to get me in touch with some low level executives in imaging division so i can tell them my thoughts where video on Xperia should go. If bunch of random YouTubers can give feedback to executives so can i who has owned and used Sony pro video cameras since day zero of XDCAM. I've influenced so many production teams to shoot and rent F5/Venice instead of Arri or RED when we were collaborating on commercials, promos and indie features and I think i have a right to say something.
I don't mind UI changes of ne camera app, it's butt ugly and video record button is in your frame which was a no, no in previous Xperia imaging team but features have to be transfered from both Video Pro and Cinema Pro including 21:9 recording format option which i can bet my life would not be in new Pro Video mode. Hopefully they transfered some cinema pro looks such as Bright, Opaque, Strong, Soft, Venice to Cinematic looks (they've renamed them in new camera app but im not sure if they were the same). Hopefully they didn't nerf white balance A/B - M/G sliders either.
On the other hand i applaud them on 10VI,it's awesome. |

The real question is will they be around next year cause they don't seem to be interested in making phones |
