Mine crashed today sending a text message. Had to pull the battery which led the phone to go crazy! The menus were just showing icons and no text and the phone couldn't pick up the network. Had to re-flash and lose everything on the phone. I wasn't a happy bunny  |

Oh thats bad luck. Which firmware do you have? I guess i been lucky with not a single crash. Yet. Am waiting till it happens though who knows when its been well over a month now still going well. Just need firmware update to hopefully get rid of the mirrored split screen thing that sometimes happens.

hey guys something happened to my C510
ive just used it for a week
and now its showing no network coverage no battery colour like green red
even though its charged nad shows 82 %
also i cant tranfer files from bletooth
CAN ANYONE HELP ME OVER HERE

moreover i thought of using a master reset and now evrything is gone
even all the themes except the rubbish clarity
This phone is new and has lots of bugs

@yesno, if you think the problem is serious,
send it back to the shop for warranty claim.
it's no use you keep ranting here.
no one can help you.
I guess, by now you've attempt sony ericsson update service (seus) already.
But if you haven't yet, please do. Let's see what happened next.
In case you are not sure how to, just send it back to shop for warranty. |

listen my battery is 23 %
and SEUS is saying it should be fully charged
when i go to charge my cell it say the battery cannot be charged use a sony ericsoon battery
it seems my mobile is gone mad |

It sounds like your problem is quite severe. You should see if you can get it fixed/replace under warranty. If re-flashing with SEUS hasn't worked then your options are a bit thin.
No new phone should have as many problems as yours.
My C510 has had its keys fixed under warranty due to a complete loss of responsivness from seven of them, and the screen flickers every now and again. |

ok now my cell is working 100% normal thanks to SEUS update
i noticed that older formware R1DA029 had lots of bugs
But now mine is R1DA032
lets see if this firmware has bugs |

Ah hello there sorry was bit late coming on. Glad you got the firmware updated. Most of the c510s in the shops now seem to have the R1DA032 firmware which has the split screen problem and sometimes the odd screen flicker but this is resolved by just turning phone off then back on and it stops only happens once in a while. I found the split screen happens when sometimes i change from 3G back to GSM. Now where did you buy your phone from cos even though its fine now if it was a week old where you got it from should just replace it with new. Most places offer 28 days if faulty after which time its repair. But glad ya sorted it with SEUS. So far with this firmware there are no major bugs  Sorry was bit late on i been at work. Will help where i can.

but again a new problem occured whenever i remove the battery and put it back in Its shows 0%
Now i understood this all is happening due to so many messages i send to my friends
SO PLEASE avoid SENDING SMS guys
THESE bugs are all due to messages
I think i should replace it now |

ok its working fine again i reflashed it again using seus and now its back to normal but i noticed something when the mobile had again got spoiled the internet speed was working superb fast than before and now its again back to normal |

You should take your phone back to where you got it from get it exchanged. Your problems dont sound like anything i have had. Mine never has battery problems then having to flash it never crashed or restarted once maybe i am just lucky but so far not many people on here have complained about the phone. Yours could be just bad batch but like you said it had older firmware. Mine has same firmware as yours but i dont have any problems whatsoever. Except the mirrored split screen thing sometimes. I also send lots of messages but my battery is fine i only find battery drains quickest on internet usage but that happens on most phones. I suggest you return it when you get new one flash to new firmware again if it aint got it then see how it goes from there. Also sounds like your hammering your phone lol. But thats a dud i think with the battery going like it is its not normal for a new phone to go that bad. If your using the phone alot during the day with 3G on the battery will go fairly quick turn off 3G.
