Well it has a camera shutter indicator on the side highly unlikely for a bumper. But I still hope this is a prototype and not the final design. |

If you zoom into the power button, you can see that it's actually indented into the side of the phone rather than either sticking out or being flush. So either this is a new design change to prevent you from accidently pressing it too often, or there's a bumper around the phone

Well, then why there are 0 leaks of e6833? and 6.5" device is doomed because by seeing z5 and z5 compact vizileaks pic, such device is likely to maintain omnibalance bezel to screen ratio so very narrow bezels such of mate 7 is a bit wishful thinking.
i hate to be pessimistic and i hope i'm wrong.
@badassmam
I notice the transparent plastic now. looks like a transparent back case.
anyway, the design look similar to z3+. the change appears to be in more thickness because of the side scanner and maybe also because of bigger battery, and who knows what more. i wanted to write also because of built in wireless charging but they don't seem to care about that feature but only when verizon force them to implement it (z3v, z4v). |

Then i'm glad for you. by the look of things i will most likely buy z5 if it handles s810 properly. definitely better speakers and camera are needed for us... i'm curious to know if sony is going to differentiate z5 devices from the previous flags aside of the scanner and camera sensor. |

Great screen again, with purple tint added to your whites..... for free!
Fingerprint scanner, also great, now Sony has something Sams and Apple had........ 2 years ago!
No USB-C... well, at least this is not confirmed, but don't see it on the pic.
For Sony's sake I hope it's a prototype, even tho the leak says it's not. Oh and the "less slippery" glass back..... again
Sony has clearly stopped trying to survive in the mobile segment and just did a kamikazi shit attack. It did not go well... |

so they are doing away with the magnetic charging.. shame. i bought all these damn magnetic charger accessories and they will be useless for future devices! sigh...
i guess having an exposed, yet waterproof microUSB port is nice. but having to wait to charge my phone is kind of annoying.
the Z5 looks nice. like the fingerprint scanner but it's just gimmick imho. i'd rather they focused on having the top camera, top screen, and awesome performance than a scanner.
can't wait to see official photos. for me though, i think i will wait til MWC before i decide to upgrade..

troll is obvious. How can you judge a prototype screen? How can it be much worse than Xperia M5 screen? You're a joke. Does apple or samdung has usb type c? gtfo troll

Well I like magnetic charger too. The dock is a delight to use. I don't know why Sony axed it. I have two docks and at work it is great to have a such thing being lateral.
Does the Xperia_Insider have a good record? He still claims we'll see an Ultra this
fall. |

The scanner will not work properly for left hand users, so I kind of doubt that they will put it on right side as this photo shows. Also I doubt they will change their signature button to a big rectangular one. Also it will be nightmare for people using cases.
Maybe it is a prototype of fake. I think there is a way to put the scanner below the screen but hide it under the glass. |

You know that all the fingers in a given hand have fingerprints right? You don't need to necessarily use your right thumb. Left forefinger will do just fine.

The problem is the way left hand users will hold the phone and it will not be very comfortable to scan left forefinger or middle finger because you loosen up the grip of the phone.
In a month we will know for sure. |

You can use your right nipple as a left hand user.
