I don't get that love to Arc... I think ( or at least in my opinion ) Arc is 10x uglier than X10, its very asymmetrical device compared to X10, and I don't see the point in being that thin ( since I bend one thin phone on my pocket ). Not to mention the ugly menu button on the home screen, the lack of Mediascape ( which I liked ) and so on... And why did they changed the icons over the hardware buttons? They even left the miscroUSB uncovered. I just don't like that device, that's why I'm not going to buy it. The lack of proper white version of the phone is another deal-breaker.

Well, most people (including me) like the Arc more than X10. Plus, a Mediascape will be added in the final software. After all, no one is forcing you to buy it But I'll have to agree about the uncovered microUSB, it doesn't look very good. |

I've heard Mediascape will be added as an optional component of the phone when it gets released (so you won't have to use it if you prefer the original Android gallery). This way SE will make their updates faster than before. |

I thought Timescape is optional, Mediascape will not be present at Arc, instead it`ll use Android base Gallery and just add widget for media. I like widgets for media more then Mediacsape actually and as a bonus we`ll get faster updates, so it`s a big plus for me. |

I like Mediascape, if the X10 natively supported DivX/Xvid & FLV i would have used Mediascape for videos to.

I still hate it... all I want when I play music from my phone is to navigate fast trough songs and not sweeping trough tones of content like in Mediascape, but still it is just my personal preference. |

Xperia arc White Paper.
It says the phone supports flash 10 but would I be right in saying that this hasn't been a implemented successfully in any phone yet?

Hmm? Flash 10 is succesfully implemented in all high-end Android 2.2+ phones. Even X10 with custom 2.2 does flash job very well |

You have heard wrong, media will comprise of widgets on the home screen that will take you to the default android media applications thats how their updates will be alot faster than before, as for the micro usb charging port that will also be covered on the final units. |
