@Hobbs congrats it's a beast of a phone  I am tempted by the Lumia 930 being of a better size currently only £350 on EE network or £419 sim free!! Photos come out best in 5mp mode Hobbs

Thanks Tsepz,Bono and everyone else.Absolutely loving this phone and surprising WP.Ohnest truth is at this stage i can't find any faults as yet.beautiful screen,very smooth,battery life top notch,love the dedicated camera hardware button (haven't had time to do much snapping as yet),8.1 sorted out the proportions of the UI,beautifully designed and great build quality,the list goes on.Really pleased my first encounter with WP is on a Lumia 1520.Microsoft need to just keep plugging away.Looking forward to the next update and whats to come.

what cases is everyone using for protection. if you have a case on your phone won't you please snap a shot and post it here so i can see.
im busy looking online and these are one of the choices i quite like.
incipio feather. comes in black and cyan. i like the cyan one.

Nokia know how to built a solid device and WP is slowly but surly getting ready for prime time.

Hi guys.I don't know if this is something you could help me out with. Below is examples of how I used to like posting my photos on Instagram instead of the same old square format.
 
This is when I used the Galaxy Note 2 to snap photos.I used PixlrExpress and Repix apps to achieve this.
I first downloaded a white background the square dimensions used in Instagram. (not a problem)
Then would find the photo I would want to post and round the corners (not a problem.Used Repix)
Where the problem comes in is when I would open the white square in PixlrExpress and then choose ADD IMAGE. I would then choose the photo whose corners I had just rounded and place it within that white square and then save. Then I would proceed to post that photo on Instagram.
Need to know if anyone knows of an app that can achieve that same end result on WP.

I use No Crop to stop the cropped images on Instagram & also on WP 6tag app is way better than Instagram Beta it does videos and you don't have to crop the image

Try PhotoGrid. It allows you to round the corners.

Thanks Bonovox. 6tag does half the job I need so it will do for the time been. Still wanna be able to ADD IMAGE on top of a white square and place it anywhere within that square and resize it before saving and then post it.

Now just to resize that rounded photo anywhere on top of a white square and problem solved.
