GS2 is sometimes a bit too cold but arc is mostly a bit too warm for colours.
Take a look at my comparison here (internet-mobile.me)

In this case, the arc's greens came out looking more like a sickly green.

Interesting a great photo comparison there davidsic.
My thoughts:
- SGS2 seems to handle exposure slightly better than the Arc, maybe this is the SGS2 being set at a high exposure.
- SGS2 seems to produce more natural colours than the Arc
- Arc creates more "punchy" saturated images
- Sharpness and focus seem to be about the same on both
- Arc handles sky detail better, in the wall and tree photo SGS2 "blows" out the sky.
In the end it all comes down to preference, both a good cameras, my preference would be towards the SGS2 photos, mainly because of the better exposure and colour, but Arc is still good, colours a nice and vivid and there is no blurring or focus loss towards the edge. |

Judging from your photos davidsic the Samsung has far better details. Colder colours can be changed in settings I rarely use Auto

I think SGS2 just has a better sensor than the Arc. So much for this Exmor lark. |

Hey davidsic, I have to ask you would you retire your Sony Arc for the S2? Based on camera quality it seems the S2 takes a better shot without playing with settings. Also have you had a chance to play around with the Samsung Infuse?

To the detail:
How big are the pics of the SGS II?
Because the Arc has a vey heavy compression it loses detail. But after watching the comparison pics on the other forum I prefer the Arc.
Could you make some night shot comparison?
