I can see what was meant by the "2D" icons!
It actually does look worse than the K700i!! |

Better wait 1 or 2 months for that.
Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES

Had any body else got any better pics of the orange menu icons?
They havnt blocked the mp3s as a ring tone like voda and you can pick your own SMS tone? |

Got my Orange K750 today. First impressions: Love it! Here is a picture of the menu on the K750 with one of the orange themes loaded. Looks like the themes might have an impact on the "spotlight" used to select from the menu.
I think Orange have done an OK job on the firmware, dont have a problem with the icons having a slightly Orange tint. At least they have seen sense and left the desktop alone and allowed to decide what users want!
I havent really had a chance to play, so if I find anything "Orange" hidden away I'll post it.
OH BTW just found that the USB lead charges as well |

I can live with that. What about the mp3s and sms tones?
What is that strike in the battery there for? Not seen that before. Is this something to Orange only |

Hmmm that pic doesn't seem as bad as the one previously posted.
I've been doing some research as I'm a newbie to SE and never bothered to flash my previous mobiles....
Anyway, clearly you can debrand a k700i but this seems an extroardinarily complicated process.
Did any K700i owners ever manage to do this with ease? And even better, is this something you could get done at your (dodgy) local mobile phone shop?

Now that is even more hideous than the K700i's Orange branding.
Just to clarify, you only get that menu when you select an Orange theme ? or any theme has that menu ?
If so, id take the phone back. It looks far too crap like the Siemens S65 interface IMO..

Yep, you can use mp3 (even off the mem stick) as ringtones/alarm signal/message alert/contact ringtone.
The strike just seems to indicate that the phone is charging.

Here's the Orange K750i with the beams theme loaded.
The menu looks a little different. The icons also animate in sort of a slightly annoying in-and-out motion!!
