¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ The SE Mophun Web "trick" IS OVER !!!!!!!!!

Today SE fix the vulnerability in the "Fun & Downloads" section which allowed anybody to download the game to the PC instead of the T610 through WAP. They have fix the problem in 36 hours, in fact "thank's" to Esato forum.

I will not said ANYTHING about the games, don't ask for me about this.

Thank's again to Esato's tell-tale and his censored forum.

Only one more... as owner of a legal/bougth software/game I have the LEGAL rigth of making a BACKUP of this software. I repeat.... this is the LEGAL one.
SE works in the ILEGALITY. They prevent the backup of any game you buy in his web.
If you lost or delete a game for free space reason or "master reset" there is no way to recover a game you've paid for ¡¡ ¿Buy again?... just die bitch ¡¡

I feel swindled...

I agree. Im always changing what games i have on my phone if i get bored of them but if i have payed for them i should be able to upload them onto my phone again. I dont care if it means other people can use them. All i want is a backup of MY game. Thats perfectly legal and a con of SE/Mophun to make us purchase them twice

Not happy

The easiest way to download .mpn games to your computer is to use the Opera Browser. Download the new version (7.1) from www.opera.com, and simply paste your wap page into it. For example "http://wap.szejqer.divx.com.pl/stuff/sonyericsson/gry.wml". You don't have to do more.

I have just bought a game from macrospace, and have the code.
I enter the site using Opera, but as soon as I put in the code it says I have an invalid phone - cause it recognises its a PC.
I have downloaded Proxomitron - but can anyone tell me how to set it all up so my Opera browser thinks its a T610?!

Could be a reward in it if someone answers quick!!!

try using this site: http://wannabrowser.com/

(even though i have a T300, it'll still work for you)

In the HTTP User Agent part, put: SonyEricssonT300/R201

then put the url you're trying to access in the 3rd thing, the 2nd thing can be whichever.

now it'll recognize your browser as a phone, give you the website code, and the embedded file's html link.

I have tried that already

What happens is they give you a code number, then you have to enter their address on your wap, then enter the code, and click on the "download" button. It then offers you to download the game.

When I tried this method, I used Opera to view the pages, entered the code, and then right clicked on the download button and chose "copy shortcut" - and pasted it into wannabrowser with the T610 header in it.
It just gives me some sort of error!

If I go back now and check it on my phone, the link still works cause I havent actually downloaded it yet - so its not invalid yet!

Any more suggestions?!

Or should i just go get a cable or bluetooth dongle???

Hi,

I read this thread and tried 'wget' for linux. This program is a tool for downloading web material, and lets you specify which user agent that shall be reported. Try this:

-- Save the following list to 'links'
http://www.mophun.com/games/kkk7770kkk/test.mpn
http://www.mophun.com/games/kkk6660kkk/BoulderDashME.mpn
http://www.mophun.com/games/kkk120kkk/SynergenixRally.mpn
http://www.mophun.com/games/kkk1090kkk/Bouncy.mpn

http://www.mophun.com/games/kkk1222kkk/2_2_PrehistorikMan.mpn
http://www.mophun.com/games/kkk1250kkk/ACE.mpn
http://www.mophun.com/games/kkk1231kkk/1_2_LittleIndians.mpn
http://www.mophun.com/games/kkk1232kkk/2_2_LittleIndians.mpn

-- Run wget -i links -U SonyEricssonT300/R201

That will download all the games (the list is from 'wget -U SonyEricssonT300/R201 games.mophun.com).

I tried to do recursive downloading, but it did not work (think it was because of the wml instead of html)

I think it doesn't work anymore. Are these the demos or full versions? Because if there are full version I think the links are valid only for a short time.
