Don't bother with Shazam, TrackID is actually better!

Google Earth is only available for Eclair devices and hence doesn't show in the Market. I don't know whether it can be manually installed or if it still wouldn't work.

Abduction - Free doodle-jump clone that I find to be better than the original
Barcode Scanner - I'm sure you can figure out what it does
Handcent SMS - SMS application similar to the iPhone in design that offers increased usability

Those three without a doubt. My fiancée laughs every time she hears the cow moo of Abduction starting... I'm addicted I tell ya!

Others on my list:
  • Advanced Task Manager - automatically kill apps that are running in the background
  • JuiceDefender - wonderful for prolonging battery life
  • Startup Auditor - kill apps you can't uninstall and don't use (Moxier, I'm looking at you) than keep em dead
  • Apps Organizer - an easy way to keep your app folders organized
  • PDANet - the best tethering app around
  • Seesmic - fully featured Twitter client

I agree with tomasz.luch Astro is great file manager/process killer, good media player being "3" and the full screen video player for the X10 being called just "video player" from the market.
I hear there is an equalizer that works with the X10, anyone know the name?
